I normally don't keep defaults, but I do love SDA!

You can top 3 seconds?

That was a damn good run, this is probably the only run that you can get the same time by playing with your nose.
This run definitely needs Uyama's audio commentary...

haha... wow such a short run. I shall find one that beats it!

Apparently, a player can "win" The Secret of Monkey Island by immediately pressing Ctrl + W.

Some people think they can outsmart me.

Yeah, in Curse of Monkey Island (Monkey Island 3), that's why he says "A man who can hold his breath for 10 minutes". You've got 10 minutes to do that segment.

(I know, that you know, that's not allowed. But some people don't completely get that joke in Curse. There are subtleties that I still haven't pick up from that game.)

Agreed, this is begging to be the latest entry in the Michael Uyama Masterwork Series.

Also, if I remember right, Kareshi said that his original North and South run (A former Shortest Run on the Site titleholder) only took about a day (real-time, not 24h of solid effort) from "I should run this game!" to the finished product.

SDA will have to add split seconds to their timing, because I think I can mash buttons faster - for 3 seconds -- on every 324th try!  8)
difficult and stupidly random
Was this run done on Genesis or SNES?
When it was listed for review, it was marked as "SNES", but now i see that the run is located in the Genesis section of this site.

I wonder if there aren't slight differences in speed between the two.  Perhaps doing the exact same thing on the other version might prove faster?  (I suppose it is moot, though, since i see that someone has submitted a Clue run for PC)
