This was discussed before, and I think everyone was opposed to it. After all, this is a gaming/speedrunning forum. I'd just stick to MSN or AIM for your chatting needs. Besides, do you really want to chat with this community? A bunch of guys who talk about videogames all day, wouldn't that creep you out just slightly?
If you think about it, discussing games is a bit weird, but then again, so is discussing sports, celebrities, and even politics. So people need hobbies. It's ok.
Bunch of people discussing ways to get to the end of a game fastest by planning routes, using shortcuts, enemy boosting, sequence breaks, glitches, etc.
