I was watching Stubgaard's cda_701 Nightmare 100% when at 0:33 seconds I got this error message:

Host_Error: CL_EntityNum: 602 is an invalid number

How do I fix this?
Thread title:
Mumma
Code:
demix -r cda_701.dem : 602

And if you get other entity errors, remove those entities as well. 602 seems to be the highest one in this demo. Don't know what your engine's limit is.

Wonder if ConvDem has some option to fix these problems. AguirRe?
No, but I'll d/l the demo and take a look at it.

Demos recorded with JoeQuake on large maps can produce entities over 600. This is invalid in the original quake. But JQ allows entity numbers that large. I wrote a program to fix this issue by renumbering the entities in the dem files. However I'm so far behind in watching quake demos I haven't gotten to this demo yet.
Hopefully I've a new beta of ConvDem soon where you can cap the entity limit arbitrarily (default 600). It seems to work in cda_701 and I'll test with some other demos later.
Thunderbolt Forever :)
An excellent demo BTW Cheesy :thumbs up:
