The run has to be completed within 2-3 hours max and cca 50 segments top, otherwise it would be boring. It can probably be done under one hour if you obsolete the Meduna town with lot of segments. I was thinking of doing this run on my own, but I don't have much free time. Best strategy would probably be to hire some good mercs at Omerta, travel across the whole island, visit Orta to get the rocket rifles and avoid all fighting in Meduna except the last sector. Hard to say whether the frontal attack or secret underground path would be faster/safer.
I'm surprised no one has put up a bounty for Kingdom hearts
Usually bounties are brought up because there isn't much interest in doing the run. Kingdom Hearts already has a few people trying to get the run together.
Now that my favorite* game has been released for Virtual Console, I'm finally going to put up a bounty. That's right, the immersive wizard dress-up experience, Magician Lord!
You can get $100 if you do the following.
-Beat the game without dying.
-Do it in under 25 minutes. (I'm 99% sure this is possible)
-Get your run posted on SDA (if you meet the other two conditions, it's almost guaranteed your run will be posted).
Just in case if you need some help beating the game without dying, here is a playthrough of the game (you can just access the other parts from the guy's account). No, it's not a speed run, but this video should still be helpful.
*Please turn on your sarcasm meter before reading the first sentence.
I just tried Magician Lord on GameTap and noticed a few things.
1) Jumping is the fastest way to travel, so let the bunny hopping begin.
2) Shinobi seems to be the best choice overall, although I haven't tried all combinations.
3) There is hardly any time between being hit and when you can take the next hit, which means invincibility movement is probably not possible as a strategy.
4) GameTap for console games won't work since it has built in save-states. However, Windows games on GameTap don't offer save-states, so that may still be an option for running Windows games.
5) I suck at beatem-ups.
6) I hope they keep the original poor translation for the game. "Again changes to hell."
7) Sub 25 may be possible if you skip all of the side treasure points that this guy gets.
So how much would someone pay someone for a SS 241 stars SMG Run?
you'd have to pay me 35$ to watch it
perferrably no one will pay this cause i think if you wanna do it do it. I think that bounties should go for hard, or games taht might not be run otherwise.

yea its not the fact that it wont be run or the fact its a hard game. i just that a SS 241 star run would be pushing any1 to there limit, coz come on every one got 2 eat and use the toilet.
Has anyone noticed that the SO2 run finally went up? If MGSB can get in contact with me he gets $50.
BTW Tom when you read this, apparently someone deleted a post and so my details post got bumped from the top of page 8 to the bottom of page 7. So please change that in the table.
I noticed that the bounty for "Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines" from VippiN is no longer valid, maybe because kn1ves made a run and has/or will be payed, I don't know, it's not specified why it's no longer valid.
The Phantasy Star Online (PSO) force char bounty can also be removed, it was finished and paid. dexter was as friendly as to donate the bounty to SDA, by the way
MGSB contacted me (he's a modest guy, he said he didn't know if he deserved it but I told him he could consider it an advance on his next run ;)), so you can go ahead and remove the SO2 entry.
However, since this game is interesting, lets make the bounty interesting.
$20 for any ending.
$50 for all endings. I'm not entirely sure how this would work considering that it would consist of about 4-5 complete playthroughs. Several of the endings can be had from a single playthrough. If I remember correctly there are 13 different endings.
