I'm done with school and I'm going right back into running this game. I got a new any% warps PB that I was (kind of) happy with. However the reason I wanted to post was because this happened to me:

We haven't updated the thread since most information about this game has just been between conversations with Saver and I and on our streams.
I made a speedrunning tutorial. It's a bit outdated at this point but it still gives you a lot of the major concepts of the run.

The two runs that have seen the most amount of change are Bunny 100% (which got into SGDQ 2014) and Chelsea Any%.
Here is the Chelsea Any% run that Saver did. The magic starts at 3:23

There is a glitch with Chelsea's Vermilion Lord ability that, in short, turns her into a zombie after 10 seconds or so if you activate it right after you get hit. She becomes invulnerable to everything except landing on the ground, which instantly kills her even if you have elixirs (they get drained 1 per active frame). There is one way to avoid complete death, and that is to do a room transition into an area you haven't been in before with the area cutscene.
If you reverse time during the end of those 10 seconds, something funky happens. The game reverses time 10 seconds before Vermilion Lord was activated, and will even change the room you're in without changing Chelsea's relative position. What makes this even more interesting is you can even go through areas of different save files (including Bunny's!) if you activate the time warp glitch within 10 seconds of loading your game. The game will backtrack to the last thing you did before you loaded the save.
A couple more things:
For some reason in Bunny vs Chelsea (as Bunny), if you die, the door to the final room along with the room transition opens up.
Chelsea's only offensive option in the Vermilion Lord state is to stomp.
Put them all together and you can cheese pretty much the entire game as Chelsea.

Bunny 100% hasn't had anything fancy other than optimizations, but time is still being saved be large chunks and the competition has been pretty tough. The records kept going back and forth between me and Saver every week. It started to die down for a month since I couldn't get it back, but I finally did. One reason I wanted to update the SDA thread is that it goes below the original Any% run.

It'll probably be beaten within a week anyway since Saver likes to have all of the records.
With the Chelsea 'with pre-made save file' RTA, could you do Bunny any%, making a save along the way, and use that to beat Chelsea with the same route as a kind of Bunny/Chelsea back to back RTA that you could do starting from a blank file?
You could, but the Bunny Any% route would have to be different. Making that final save for bunny requires the purple orb which is quite a detour. If you're going to do a run like that you might as well do a 7+ time powerup run from a blank file to unlock Chelsea, then do Chelsea's any% run.
The 7 time powerup route would differ from the any% route by picking up the time powerup in jade, doing the sword warp into Septentrion back door but then going right back into fire picking up the time powerup, then the purple orb, then warping off of the time powerup after cat. The 7th time powerup you just pick up in Septentrion.
I don't know how willing we'd do this run though. It's more difficult than the regular any% which is already really reset heavy. I'll think about it.

One thing I forgot about Chelsea any%:
For maximum time saving we have a save file with no health powerups and 6+ time powerups so we can die/recall fast with the setup and save about 1 second by heal cancelling the intro "let's go go go!".

General Glitches

Reverse time in Jade Tower to skip all three pumpkin mini-bosses

While paused, holding escape and selecting continue game lets your advance one more frame.

Update on the speedruns

As for the current status on the 100% speedruns, me and PinkPajamas are still tossing the WR back and forth.  I found two new routes that are much different than the one from the video above.  Both of these routes are relatively the same in terms of time (it used to be a 6 second difference between them, until I noticed that one route uses less warps, which saves around two additional seconds per warp...that and just some small optimizations).  The current routes for 100% are as follows:
