I like this site name cause it's easy to remember.

Some of the speedruns here would be absolutely impossible without having memorized all the ins and outs of all or most of the game. So I got to thinking of a contest...

What is the best video game performance you can do blindfolded?

You'd definately want to pick games with no randomness, but still it would be difficult because of timing. Unless you turn the sound up really high. I wonder if Super Mario Bros. can be done blindfolded? Or Super Mario 64?

And how exactly would someone prove they beat the game blindfolded? Tongue

I imagine that if there's a game that I could beat blindfolded it's Resident Evil....though I don't think I'll try it. 8)

I suppose you could keep a digital camera on the person and the TV screen at the same time, like those videos of arcade games where you see the screen and the hands at the controls.

blinded folded thats easy. You start with th colour and screen brigtness full. Then maually lower the brightness on the screen and colour, to black the screen out. If sound is allowed than sound will still play but the screen will be all black.

Uh... I'd think the difficulty would be actually playing the game, not the blindfolding itself...

This reminds me of the time I tried playing Super Mario Kart while blindfolded. I played with a blindfold on and my friend told me what was coming up. It was pretty fun until we got to the ghost house level.
