Hey all, new runner here. I've been watching runners since AGDQ2012 I think it was (Resident Evil Code Veronica actually was the first I ever watched). Anyways, I really love Binary Domain and would absolutely love to speed run it. It's a game I've played through several times. I think the only game I've ever speedrun in the past was Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory when I was 17, and that wasn't on purpose, more that I was obsessed with the game and wanted to push myself.
Does anyone have any experience with this game? I tried looking around and couldn't find anything for speedrunning it really. As a rule should I just start by trying to optimize my runs on the game overall and then try to break it? Like I said, I don't know where to start, but I adore the game. Any help would be much appreciated.
edit: I wanted to add that on reddit my handle is VoxKoshka. I'm currently discussing this game there as well.
As of tonight (4/26/2014) I'm starting the routing.
--I'm going to be playing on Hard difficulty.
--This game has a built in timer per level so I'm using that for now
If there are any considerations that I should be making other than those I'm all ears.
