Bebop and Tempo now on Steam
Hello everyone!
After watching and participating in many Games Done Quick charity events, I wanted to make my own game that can be played in the competitive scene of speed running, as well as enjoying the game by yourself. I started development on Bebop and Tempo a couple of months back and I am looking for your support and feedback to make this game great. I am open to all ideas.

Thread title:
Hi! Thanks for showing interest in the SDA community (whoa that sounded like I'm a customer service person for Microsoft). It's typically not easy to get people to test/speedrun games because most already are hard at work on existing projects. This is why I recommend handing out keys to anyone who does show up. That having been said, we now have a comprehensive guide to how to make games better for speedrunning!

I'm moving this thread under "gaming discussion" since it's not really about SDA matters.

Hey Lotblind!

Thanks for the info. I have read the guide for developing a speed runner and found out that most of the points were already implemented in Bebop and Tempo. There are a few enemies that I did have on random timers so I have changed them to a set time and speed. I also recently added a global death counter to the pause screen to allow another metric to be measured when running. I have been getting some good feedback from various people and making the appropriate changes. The Steam Greenlighthttp://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=895362848&searchtext=bebop+and+tempo is going well. I would love to have a select few beta test/run Bebop and Tempo before the release, although they would not be eligible to participate in the first blind run competition when Bebop and Tempo is released. I will keep you all updated. Please do reach out/PM to me if you are interested in beta testing before release. Any comments are greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Glad the guide was of at least a little bit of use!
