I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
For the last 24 hours, every run I've dowloaded from this site has had such bizarre, glaring brightness and washed out colors they've been almost unwatchable.  Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Problem videos:
-the new Yoshi's Island run
-The new Serious Sam: Second Encounter run

Perhaps you've messed up the brightness settings in DivX.

That was my first thought, but I've tinkered with the settings extensively and I can only get it up to 'somewhat watchable".  I didn't have any problems until a day ago, so I'm puzzled why they suddenly went bad out of the blue when I hadn't changed anything.

Check your drivers... NVIDIA 77.72 has a known "brightness" issue with video playback...

Confirming this problem. I updated my NVIDIA drivers and faced the same brightness / contrast issues. Installing older drivers worked, even if it isn't the most elegant solution.

same happened to me, I wish I had seen this thread back then before I deleted a few movies i just got for being 'crappy quality'
