To stop the conversion from YUV to RGB you just need to select Direct Stream Copy(under the
Video
menu).
BTW, the bitrate for uncompressed RGB at 320x240(30fps) is only 6.7MB/s, so I doubt that's causing the lag.

Never mind, I'll try all of this out and hope it works. But, from now on, should I capture my video in virtualdub?
I'm kinda all confused, should I also keep compressing my files in Dr. Divx? I'm sorry for being a bother.

Well it's about frickin' time!
How'd you finally get it to work?
To answer your question, Dr. DivX should work fine, though you may want to play around with the settings to find a level of quality you're happy with.

I did what you said "To stop the conversion from YUV to RGB you just need to select Direct Stream Copy(under the Video menu). " and I downloaded what Radix told me to.

Damn, I have one more problem. When I compressed the file in Dr. Divx, it got the sound out of sync again. If I fix this, I'm home free.

I'm addicted to games
Don't use dr divx then. Use virtualdub like nate's faq tells you to (you think maybe nate and I know what we're talking about?)

Ok, one more little question. When I compress it in divx, which pass should I use? 1-pass, multipass 1st-past, or multipass Nth pass?

For simple stuff just use 1-pass. for better looking stuff do multipass 1st pass and then save it again with nth-pass.
