Hello all, how are you guys doing?
My name is Raqib, a full time promoted partner on Twitch. I am also the pet owner of 5 young cats. Because of that, I decided to attempt to do animal charity on top of streaming. I did my first animal charity stream in January 2014, and I've done two more since then. In total, I have raised $5,000 for charity by myself (not doing real marathons, just streaming on and off on my regular schedule) and I would like to try to shoot for a higher goal in the future by doing a real marathon. The problem is, I don't really know anyone in my local area.
I moved to Paramus, NJ less than a month ago, and I've been trying my best to network since I got here, but so far, nothing yet. I would love to be able to conduct maybe a three day marathon for charity between two or three people. Seeing as I just completed my most recent charity event in May, I am shooting for maybe late July/early August for my next one.
Do you live in the area? Are you allergic to cats? If yes, can you endure it to help raise money for sick animals?
Let me know! I'd love to try to coordinate something!
