My feelings on The Demon Rush

Prevent Cancer is doing an annual report, and Jim Wood, the digital media director sent me this email about it.

I know people took a lot of pictures during the marathon, so I'm wondering if anyone has any really good ones that captures the action.

I know there is a pictures topic, but that doesn't really help me whittle down hundreds of pictures down to about 5 or less. I did find a good picture out of Trek's album though.

The origin of the meme is a bit awkward, but it became pretty huge for a while, and "GARY MOTHERF**KING OAK" still gets a lot of use around the net (with most calling him the original troll for his ability to suddenly show up in places in Red and Blue when your Pokemon would have just gone through a pretty rough area and would be tired out, promptly getting curbstomped by him).
