Earlier I posted that i could make a custom T-shirt for the DK64 run but I'm going to have to scratch that. I just don't have to money to afford making a T-shirt right now. Sorry Sad

i finally uploaded the last picture i was making, uyama made this one hard for me and it took me like a month to even think of an idea lol

Woah, that's really good. The overall composition is pretty good, but I do have one issue: the contrast for the title and captions is a bit lacking; it's kind of hard to see them from the background behind. Also, I can't help but see the TSSB depiction of flicky in the character you have in the center, haha.

Oh -- those Twitch face perlers -- I think you might want borders around them for contrast. The Kappa perler is just a bit hard to make out...

Fucking Weeaboo

For the last month and a half, I've been talking about working on a prize for the marathon. It's finally finished!

It's an Eeveelution clock (and as such, given away during Pokemon games). It's not perfect, but it certainly looks nice (IMO, of course). Wood trim, glass front, and it works. I'm leaving in the AA battery I've used to test it.

Hope the winner enjoys it!

i can probably edit the text color real quick, i just copy pasted colors from a looney tunes logo tbh without thinking too much about it lol. i'll fix it in time for the printed version

Sir VG, love the clock! The only complaint I have about it is you can sort of see the numbers behind the Eevees. Maybe putting another cloth or something behind it would help cover it up more.

Yeah, it's a bit of an unfortunate consequence of the materials I used and the fact that I purchased a clock, rather than assembling one. The cloth is stuck down now with some serious sticky stuff, so I can't fix it. It's kind of one of those things I'd do differently if I did it again, but I guess it can be looked at this way - it's easier to line up times if you have to recalibrate the clock. >_>;;

Sorry about being quiet lately. I've been trying to get this done on time. I'm still making some final tweaks, but I will be printing this out at 18x24 poster size (without the watermark) and sending it out by the end of the week for Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game.

Hey, I wanted to let you know that I won't have time to complete the pokemon cross stitch, I'm still finishing the Metroid one. That will be done in time though so I'll send it off right around the 24th, though maybe the 26th if I can't get to a post office.

A funny thing happened to me yesterday. I was in this pub having dinner when I started talking to these two guys who said they were going to AGDQ. Small world, right? Well since I can't go, I went ahead and gave them all of my prizes to take with them. They said their names were "Mikw" and "Sinister." I'm pretty sure those aliases, but they seemed like nice enough lads, so I trust them.

Here we have a few new pics. First is the gunblade (took fucking long enough, ey?) Next are two pics of the Yoshi coins with their adorable new case, which my lady made. Last is the obligatory group photo.

If you head on over to the gunblade poll thread, I'm about to post a bunch of other pics of the GB. I'll avoid doing that here to conserve space.

Alright, first post and the schedule updated. Sorry for the long wait, I've been dealing with a very serious family problem.

Prizes are pretty much closed at this point unless you are actually attending the marathon. Anyone not in US/Canada should have already sent theirs out; if you haven't, please do so ASAP. US/Canada prize providers have until the 24th as the official deadline, but again, just try to send them out as soon as you can. The holidays really mess with shipping, even if you pay for express (look what happened to my plushies during SGDQ 2012, thanks to Memorial Day).

Thanks again for all your hard work, time, money, and care. The marathon will be better thanks to all of you!
