I'll be providing Bomberman 64, Goldeneye 007, Super Smash Bros. 64, Killer Instinct Gold, Pilotwings 64, and Mario Kart 64 along with the N64 Bass Boost is providing. Also, when I was talking to Bass Boost he said he would provide four controllers with the system.
Been working on some of the stuff I mentioned I'd do so long ago. Just about done with the set. Still got a Little Mac victory pose and something Commander Keen to do but I ran out of black beads and need to stop at the craft store before I can finish.
Well Ajay Vidure from Konami gave us a prize package for our marathon. Some of the prizes are better than others, but fortunately, the best ones are good.
This has been in the pipeline since... well, I think most of the past year, but the stars finally aligned. Since learning that I work at the same company as the man himself, I have acquired for donation to the cause:
1 Blaster Master NES cartridge, complete with box and manual, autographed by Rich Robbins- the US-release producer and the man, if anyone, singularly responsible for the rewriting of the story from something about space tanks and anime princesses to the now-canonical boy and his giant radioactive frog saga. Photo once my camera battery is no longer dead.
Autograph of Rich Robbins, who wishes to be known as the "US Producer and Intro Designer," although to his own recollection he also took the super-up-close photo used for the cover art
I'd love to hand-deliver it since I've also been aiming to attend the marathon myself (yes, yes, signup thread- already there), but I'm still tentative enough that I really ought to ship it to someone else to be safe.
This is my first time shipping anything as far as perlers go. Does anyone have a recommendation as to how to ship perlers as well as how much it would cost?
When I ship them I pack them in a normal bubble mailer envelope and I'll use some discard cardboard to just give the packet a little extra firmness to resist bending/breaking if I can fit it in. That's mostly for small stuff though. If I've got things that are just too big to feel safe putting into something like that I go with a box and some proper bubble wrap.
I said a while i'd do a digital painting of samus for metroid to send in but no1 remembers anyway this is it: http://fav.me/d5lbrtf I'm going to send it in as a print. I'll probably buy one off deviantart as a gift for the guy and that's how i'll send it in. cccc:
Updated the first post and the schedule. Also, just added a section in the first post that organizes the prizes in schedule order: this should be referenced during the marathon so that the commentators can give proper credit for prizes easily.
Those... I... that... okay. I would officially take ANY of those. But I may need to set aside some particular budget for the Sonic block, because those Metal Sonic pics... :droool:

Hey guys, I realize I've been a little silent in the prize thread this time around.
Truth be told, I got a little behind. Since SGDQ, I've gotten engaged, gotten a new job, have been trying to plan a wedding, was in another wedding, and have been spending a lot of my free time doing cake decorating for extra cash.
But anyway, I'm still planning to send a bunch of perlers. I just wanted to keep y'all updated since I've sort of disappeared.
