A lounge

Hey I was just thinking since we have problems with non game related topics (kind of like this one) getting posted all the time in General Chat that maybe you guys could create a new section, a lounge persay, that could be free range topics, music, hobbies, anything non game related. I know it would be trouble to manage another whole section but i think it would be a nice addition to this site. I understand if you think this isn't a good idea, it is totally up to you. If anyone supports/dislikes this idea post your comments. Thanks for your time Smiley

Download AIM or something. That fixes everything. Adding a lounge would probably be either pointless, spammed, attract unwanted conversations and other oddities.

Speed is the key.

I don´t think that it would belong to this site. This is a site for speedruns after all.

I, being the master spammer, thought this was a good idea at first glance. But everyone else is right, it would generate too much spam, probably flaming, which would then lead to death, or FIERCELINKMASTER's favorite quote, except replacing "thread" with "forum."

It'd be best if this stayed a speedrunning/gaming discussion forum. There's also the added pressure on Radix, who would have to create a new forum for it all. As if he isn't on the brink of impaling his landlords on stakes already.......

And no, it wasn't a stupid topic, was an interesting inkling, but I don't think it would garner too much popularity from the community.
