Note I changed the deadline to 12:00 GMT on Sunday (Tomorrow), Valentin said he would give us info during Sunday but for the rest, we can't wait anymore. Need to send the full schedule around the world, to twitch etc!

for people who gonna race in the marathon if its possible we would prefer if the runners could make a hitbox channel if u don't already have one it would make it much easier for us to set the race up with commentary.

Hi guys! I have a few questions. I'm going to race with Badbrakes and just registered a hitbox account. What I would like to know is (when racing) if I have to arrange the layout of my stream? I'm guessing that the official stream will combine the racers feeds into one? Should my stream only carry ingame-sound? So far I have only talked briefly with Badbrakes but I sure could use some more info about this and also the skype-thing (when to hook up before the race and so on..). It's going to be cool anyhow!

Just have your gameplay as big as possible in the left corner of your stream and nothing els!

The guide works as that the game audio is the only audio thats streamed from the runner so he can be in the skype call.

Just wanted to clear that out Grin

Does the stream manager "pick up" the runners streams or do one have to use specific stream keys?

We have dedicated hitbox accounts that will be used for the restream and stream key will be handed out this weekend.

Edit: For easier commentary cause of the short delay hitbox have.

Casual viewer here, figured I'd just give you guys a heads up that daylight savings ends at 2:00 A.M. Sunday morning here in America, so you may just want to contact runners who are playing on Sunday to double-check their scheduled start times.

HELLO!

We added an extra hour of buffer to the schedule to account for the DST change, since when the schedule was drawn up in Eastern time the schedulers didn't know about that. That should handle it, though.

In the future though online marathon planners should schedule in GMT, *then* convert to local time.

As a note, I plan on doing my own commentary (with DragonDarch, if he wants). I usually talk a lot. Is it fine if I just balance game and sound myself?

Question, does the schedule take into account at all that daylight savings is switching for most of the US on the 2nd at 2am? That's almost exactly when my run is supposed to be for my local time right now. Or is that what the Setup/Buffer block is supposed to be for?

I'm effectively gonna do the exact same thing with Crystalis, so I don't see why not.

that happened to me too. No other philosoraptors on hitbox except philosoraptor42 when I went to make one. Pretty sure someone did that to be a dick. hahaha.
