Adventure Speedruns
Hello everybody.

Yesterday i got a nice movie from Mike of the United States. He did a speedrun of the classic LA game Zak Mc Kracken from 1988. Have a look.

www.adventure-speedruns.eu.tt

In the last weeks the site really found a lot of interests. Also a guy from germany wants to create runs. He wants to do indy3 + indy4.
I know someone who's really excited of that. :O

If this keeps on going with people who like do LA speedruns our list is getting filled soon.

give me your eyes!!!
Hooray!

The first time I played I was transfixed by all the fascinating quirks; bizarre things with aliens and the blatant vandalism that all seems to have some sort of purpose - but then I managed to suffocate the two characters on the [Edit: It's not the moon, it's mars or something very similar, silly me] and left it.

Then I played it for a solid two days several years later and managed to complete it almost all by meself, yay for me. Anyway, thank you and Mike for the run!
Nifty.
Thanks for the heads-up once again.  Fun level of nostalgia watching these runs, and nice to see how quickly Lucasarts games can be done.
I'm still waiting for Full Throttle. Smiley
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
Maybe this will tide you over...

Not going to school today
Ah, the memories.  Takes me back about 15 years.  I always wondered how this game ended...

Adventure Speedruns
For me it's also one of the best games. I love it.

@ ballofsnow: I'm working on it, but because of my time leak it doesn't go any further.

Thank you so much. Can't wait for the both Indy Runs. Will watch the Zak McKracken run too. I love those Point and Click Adventures. Smiley

Must only download it now, hope the speed will not go down so much.
Adventure Speedruns
I'm looking also excitingly forward to that indy runs. That a lot of work to do for that runs. Respect.

I hope the speed kept up for the download. Normally it balances between 90 and 100.

But it can change on many simultan downloads.

For me the download was not so good. It start at 20 or 30. But later it goes down to 4 or 8. So I have wait more hours. I try some other Servers, but they goes down too. Maybe to much download at the same time from the Server, but all Servers looks empty? Or bad connection from me?

But got it and watch it already. Great run. Never know, that this game can be played so fast. I know I complete it only one time in the past and only with Guide. Because you can do so much wrong, when you not know to which land you must fly.  :-/

But the run looks great. I see no big errors.
Hi!
@El_Nino:
I could host the videos on my server, so the connection would be a little bit faster.
I could provide about 64 kbit/s, but for sure without waiting time and of course it would be free.
So if there is interest in it, just email me.

@El-Nino:

Are there any plans to make speedruns of current adventures? I was thinking of games like Runaway,
Broken Sword ("Baphomets Fluch"), Still Life etc.

The Pianoman
Adventure Speedruns
@ Stephan88: Thanx a lot. We will continue with email contact.

@ ThePiano_Man: The first episode of our side, will be to get the list of the 13 Lucas Arts Adventure completed. My Website is at the moment only for Lucas Arts Adventure. But after completing filling the list, I gonna extend my site to more and also newer Adventure.

It would be great if you want to do one. The Broken Sword Episodes, would be damn great. I love that game, it's one of my big favorites.
