Verifier Responses

Quote:
Was he using an older version of the game? Because this is what the current version is supposed to look like (retro TV look):

The run itself by the way looks nice. Its time is 4:39 (38 seconds faster then the current run) and it involves death-abuse (3 deaths) along with a different route. Too bad the runner didn't record the sound.

1 other verifier withheld their comments, but accepted.

Decision: Reject

Reason: The gameplay is fine, and the retro TV thing is just an option, but the audio track is a random unrelated song and the runner doesn't have the original audio.

This run will be available for a month. After that these link(s) will no longer work.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the runner used Yua or Anri to encode his run, since the video bitrate is really high. Because I think that despite the 720p resolution the bitrate could be much lower while preserving the same quality (the current run on SDA has 362 kb/s at 800x600 resolution and 60 fps).
Not a walrus
Both Yua and Anri will limit the bitrate if it can tell the quantizer is too low (low being higher bitrate), so probably not.
