I've been trying my speed run at snake eater, and sure its going great, but i was doing one little bit for around 4 hours just so i new it off by heart and to be able to perform it fast enough. Now if this carries on, it's going to take me a long time to finish it, and this is only a practice run. I'm sure i'd have to do several more practice runs too before i actually recorded my final run. Ohwell, i guess it will be worth it, being one of the best in the world at a game isn't easy Tongue
Thread title:
every game's different. you might say that the difficulty for speedrunning lies in the following categories: finding tricks applicable to a speedrun (add "just getting to know the game" if you've never played it before), time required to master the manual execution (button presses, timings, and other complicated controller manuevers), and random factor (which can have up to 100% influence on the number of attempts required for a succesful (good) run).

a little loose, but this is how it's been for me in my experience so far pretty much.
more keys then pablo escobar
yo dont expect to perfect a game in one run do you?
Did I shoot 3 times or once from different angles
Yeah I'm doing snake eater too. Except instead of doing the whole game several times I do small parts of the game to master it by sections. Then I combine it all.

Are you doing it on Extreme or European Extreme?
