1-Up!
Alright, folks, I'm looking to sell my Wii along with some extra things. I think I've arrived at a fair price, so I figured I'd throw it up here and give you guys a chance to look it over before I put it up on ebay or craigs list.
WHAT I'M OFFERING:
ONE Wii console with A/V and power cords, along with stand and sensor bar (Probably don't have the original box, but it may be buried somewhere)
TWO Wii remotes (Nintendo Brand, have to check and see if I have the wrist straps)
TWO Nunchuks (Nintendo Brand)
ONE copy of Wii Sports (have to check on sleeve and manual)
ONE copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii (with box and manual)
TWENTY-FOUR Virtual Console and WiiWare games listed below
ASKING PRICE:$120 $140-145 USD****
Reasoning:
I'm looking to upgrade to the 25th anniversary Red Wii that releases in November. Obviously I don't need 2 Wii's, so I'm looking to sell mine along with some extra incentive stuff. The Wii itself still works/runs perfectly. Gamestop sells refurbished Wii's for $120 but you don't get Wii Sports, NSMB Wii, or the extra controller and nunchuck. I figured Gamestop probably overcharges a little, so I can add some extra stuff in and charge the same price to be competitive. Also from looking online, there doesn't seem to be very much going for less than this, so that's how I made my decision.
If you're interested, make an offer in this thread. I'm willing to negotiate, but I don't want to go too much lower than this.
Edit: pictures in this post.
****Edit 2:
This morning while Googling how to transfer my VC and Wiiware titles I came to the sad conclusion that it is in fact impossible to do so. That means that all of my Virtual Console and WiiWare games are permanently tied to my Wii. This kinda sucks, but It's not the end of the world because I only play a few of them regularly anymore and got my money's worth out of the rest of them.
The VC/WiiWare games I have are:
Super Mario Bros. (NES)
Super Mario Bros. 2 USA (NES)
Super Mario Bros. 2 J (NES)
Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
Super Mario World (SNES)
Super Mario RPG (SNES)
Mario Kart 64 (N64)
Paper Mario (N64)
Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
Donkey Kong Country 2 (SNES)
Donkey Kong Country 3 (SNES)
Mega Man (NES)
Punch Out! (NES)
Super Punch Out! (SNES)
Doc Louis's Punch Out (WiiWare) <- Club Nintendo exclusive, afaik
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
The Legend of Zelda (NES)
The Legend of Zelda II: AoL (NES)
Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)
Kirby 64 (N64)
Pokemon Snap (N64)
Pokemon Rumble (WiiWare)
Tetris Party (WiiWare)***
Lompos (WiiWare)***
***These last two have been purchased on my wii and can be downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel for free, but there isn't currently enough space in the Wii memory for me to have them downloaded along with all of my other games and my save files (which I haven't deleted yet). I would recommend investing in an SD card if you don't have one, that way you can put the VC/WiiWare games on it and they won't take up your Wii memory.
So anyhow, that's 24 extra games I'm selling along with the Wii. For reference sake, the total I paid for all of them was ~180, but I obviously don't want/expect that much for them. I think a fair price for everything mentioned above plus the extra games would be in the $140-145 range, that's roughly a dollar per game, and 20-25 extra dollars ought to allow me to redownload the titles I still play semi-regularly
