WTB/Trade: Pokemon Box Ruby and Sapphire (NTSC)

Every now and then I look for these on eBay and the prices are ridiculous. If anyone here is willing to part with them for a reasonable price I can pay for them with PayPal. I'd be willing to trade if necessary but there's not much I can offer so I'd prefer to pay for them.

I'd like Pokemon box to store all my extra Pokemon like the torchic/mudkip's and their evolutions from my numerous test runs, or the Pokemon I keep to breed. I've never tried using the Broken RNG in emerald to get a good Pokemon from breeding before. I guess it's more fun for me not to.

As for the Colosseum bonus disc, it's just to get jirachi. If I had it before I started speed-running sapphire I could have had an army of them by now.

I'm not sure what a good price for them would be so post here, PM me or contact me on AIM to discuss prices.

Edit: Just bought the bonus disc on eBay, just waiting for delivery on it. Still would like a copy of pokemon box.

I have pokemon Box Ruby and Sapphire. I don't have the collosseum bonus disk however (sorry) I saw Pokemon Box going for 300 new at Amazon, I will definitely sell it for much less than 100, probably 50-70 with the GBA - GCN Cable, memory card and inserts. Is that okay?

I already have the connection cable. Is the memory card a generic one that came with the game or is special in any way? Anyway I looked on eBay to check prices for it there and there weren't any. Just some from the UK going for decent prices, but they're obviously PAL.

$50-70 is still a lot, but considering the rarity of the game it's not entirely unreasonable. That's out of my price range for now though. I'm not exactly sure what I can afford to pay right now. I'll have to check my bank and paypal accounts to see what I have left.

Unfortunately I don't have anything good to trade to get a lower price. Just sonic chronicles: the dark brotherhood and Pokemon emerald, cart only. The label's worn down too.

The best price for the bonus disc I saw was $35 CDN, including shipping. That's still kind of high for me. I'll try looking over my games and seeing if there's anything I can part with. I have a lot I don't play anymore, but I can't seem to bring myself to part with them.

Generous enough to let it go for $25? Given the rarity I'd say that's too low. I'll tell you this. I can afford to pay off the pokemon sapphire and blue dragon bounties if someone were to claim them right now, and have a few dollars left over. It doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon though, and I can always add more money to my paypal account. I'd like to keep it handy, but as long as my bank account doesn't run dry I should be okay.

The problem is I don't have a job right now so I was hoping someone here would be willing to part with them cheaply. If I was working I'd buy it for $50 if that was cheaper then eBay, or if there weren't any available. I'd like to buy it for an affordable price and not feel like I'm ripping you off.

I don't want to say yeah and then bite myself over it later, so I'll think about it. I don't know though, because it's going for 130ish used at the lowest at amazon and I really, really need money in the next few months because I'm moving out and walking around the country. If you are willing to wait or compromise, then I am all for it. I am just not sure about 25 dollars, man. That's not saying I'm definitely not going to, I just need to think about it.

EDIT: The memory card is nothing special, just a cool color. The game requires a lot of memory too, so it's convenient. I didn't read that you didn't need a connector. I'm still thinking about it.

That's cool. Actually if you're okay with eBay and need the money I'd say put it up on there. It wouldn't surprise me if someone ended up paying a lot for it there. I don't really need either one, they'd just be a nice luxury. I don't know if you'd be better off going with a buy it now option and setting it something like $75-100 or making it auction only and starting lower. I need to check and see if you can find out how much items that were auctioned were sold for to see how much people are actually paying for it.

I have a feeling someone will say eBay is a stupid idea and give a much better option.

Edit: I just did a search for completed listings, and while it only showed ones from September it did show one listing for a NA copy of Pokemon box that was sold with one bid of $130. Seems like it's not such a bad idea after all.

For a solution regarding Jirachi, if you have the Homebrew Channel installed on your Wii and Pokémon Colosseum/XD you can download a homebrew app from WiiBrew to put USB Memory Adapter saves on your Gamecube memory card. For Pokémon Colosseum, Download the gcs from GameFAQs that has all Shadow Pokémon including Ho-oh and Jirachi and the Johto Starters and also download a program to convert it to a gci file:

So, that's the way I got the Johto Starters, Suicune, Ho-Oh, and Jirachi. I've never had XD yet.

Thanks for the tip. My sister has my wii right now but that'll be good to know since I figured out how to get my 360 and ps3 online and connected to xbox live and PSN on dial-up. I can get patches and some dlc now as long as the filesize is small, and it's free. I haven't tried online play but I have a feeling it'll lag a bit.

That colosseum bonus disc for $35 on eBay is still available. If it's still up tomorrow I might consider buying it.

Edit: As of October 2nd I managed to buy a copy of the bonus disc on eBay for $24 USD, including shipping. So if anyone has a copy of pokemon box they'd be willing to let go cheap let me know. The funny thing is there's usually a few for sale from the UK that are pretty cheap, but of course they're in PAL format and useless to me.
