Anyone know a place I can buy a SNES to GC controller adapter in the UK or will I need to buy from RetroZone in the states?
Thread title:
If you can't find one in the UK, I can price match you one of my adapters. The adapter I have supports NES, SNES, MD, and N64 controllers. Dunno how well it supports Game Boy Player, if that's what you're interested in using it with, but it's pretty good for VC overall.
Is PJ
RetroZone makes really really good adapters.  I have their SNES->GCN adapter and it works incredibly well.  I highly recommend them.

Carc, the adapter is simply going to be used for VC games.

PJ, I just don't feel safe putting credit card details on any website (which RetroZone requires). I'll look into this more. Thanks anyway!

I have one of these, they plug into a Wiimote, but they work perfectly for VC games.
I noticed no inputlag at all and it feels 100% like a new SNES controller.

The Dpad is sturdy? Holds up to a lot of banging?

They're supposed to be really nice, but the issue is they're a Club Nintendo prize, and are really rare and expensive to obtain. When I was looking for one a few years back, I was only finding them for over $80.
Yeah, I got one through the Europe Club Nintendo, I don't think they were even available in the US.
It was an insane amount of points too, so yeah.. they're pretty expensive.
They're afaik exact replicas of the original SNES controllers. I feel no difference.

I was hoping they did but nope: "The only payment method is by credit card on the website. No PayPal, money orders, checks, or purple ganons."

I was going to go for that Club Nintendo controller but I don't really want to constantly have my WiiMote on while I run games. It will just sap the WiiMote battery which is why I wanted a gamecube adapter as I would not have that issue.

Does anyone have experience with the Raphnet adapter?

I most likely will purchase the SNES to GC and possibly the N64 to GC adapter.
