I live in the UK so I don't really want to get delivery all the way from the US but I'm open as long as the console is good.

I probably would take a bulky PS1 but due to internal power supply issues from US to UK, the external PSOne is a life saver since I can use my PAL PS2 power cord.

I guess even if you have an NTSC PS2 it could be discussed. Feel free to PM me if you want it kept private.
Thread title:
The slim? Are you even sure you can use a UK power cord without an adapter? I wouldn't hedge money on that, especially given voltage conversion.

I have a metric shitton of extra PlayStation 1 and 2 consoles I can sell you, easy, but tbh you should go buy a power converter first before you consider buying one.

I thought this to but info here: http://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/running_ntsc_consoles_in_europe.html

I also know Slade who lives in France with a PSOne console does the same thing but with a third party French power adapter.

Carc would you mind checking your PSOne power adapter to see if it matches this?

SCPH-115
I don't have the smaller model unfortunately. =\

I have a UK plug converter I got at a hostel I could front you if you bought one of my fats (7501 and 9001), but I'm bringing up converters because I'm pretty sure the voltage for UK systems is completely different.

Someone comment me if wrong but the purpose of the external AC adapter is to take the voltage of either 110v or 240v as it is here and regulate the power to what the console requires, regardless of source. It makes sense for later revision such as the PSOne. Why spend money on shipping out different cables when we can use use external regulator boxes to do it and stick it all on mass production.

I've got a slim PSone that I have lying around somewhere, let me dig it up and see if it works.
EDIT:Yeah I found it and it works just fine.

The one for my US PSone is a SCPH-113, but the voltage output and plug that goes into the console looks the same so it should be compatible anyway.
Anyway, I'm willing to sell you the console with AV cables and power brick (if you want it). I live in the US, so shipping is obviously going to be a bit pricey.

I'm just not sure if I should go for a PSOne or a Slim PS2 at this point.

Lost out on an Ebay Slim NTSC PS2. Decided to ditch the PSOne for a PS2 for faster loading and wider compatibility. Open to anything you have there.
