hi !
i'm looking for someone who can sell me Metroid Zero Mission. I would pay by sending money on your bank account. i dont mind whether it has been used. i just want the cartridge good and working saves (my fusion doesnt save any more, i have to reset the language each time). no matter the language btw, i perfectly know the game.
if you want other paying methods i'll see, except for sending money via mail ^^'.
i dont have that much cartridge for trade if you prefer to do so, only a Worms and some old harry potter stuff nobody would want.
As the game was 30€ i will give no lower amount than that. if you want another price we can discuss it. for any contact pm me or :
sniperask[AT]gmail[DOT]com msn ID
vertozor[AT]gmail[DOT]com email adress.
i will mostly answer emails within 12 or 13 hours.
Thanks !
Thread title:
Have you tried simply changing the battery to fix the saving issue?
do you talk about the gameboy battery ? if yes it makes nonsenses, because in fact as soon as i turn off the console, memory is erased. like saves are stored in some kind of RAM:as long as the GBA is not turned off, saves are stored, i can access to them. so i went to think about an hardware problem, like a component disconnected or whatever. and besides saves work for any other games.
btw what is the purpose of the battery inside the cartridge ?

back to topic, nobody wants to sell mzm ? I know its a great game but ... i'd like to have it ^^"
Apparently GBA games don't use batteries for saving like GBC games do. So what I had in mind won't work with the GBA cartridge. GBC cartridges had batteries inside them to keep saves intact, you see.

Anyway, sorry for wasting your time.
obviously no need to apologize =]

Well, a few games did.  Pokemon games had them, since they had Real Time Clock functions.  Old SRAM games like the first two Castlevania games, DID have a battery for the purposes of saving.  This was phased out for FeRAM, which worked the same way, but didn't require batteries (Aria of Sorrow used this).  FLASH and EEPROM memory didn't require batteries.  From what I know, this change took place in around 2002.  Since Fusion came out in 2002, it could have either SRAM or FeRAM...I'd have to look at my cart (if I can find it) to see.  If it's really FeRAM, then there's no battery - which could mean the copy you have (which isn't keeping your saves) could be a fake.  There's ways to check to see if it's a fake - the easiest way is to take the game, hold the label towards you, then look up at the circuit board just above the connectors.  If you do NOT see NINTENDO in white letters, it's a fake.

Edit: Fusion and Zero Mission both are battery backed up SRAM, looking at my carts.  ZM surprises me - it's new enough that they should have switched to FeRAM by that point.  Huh.
Stand: Devil's Call in your Heart
maybe it saves lots of shit and needs bigger and cheaper chips?

that reminds me that my Pokemon GS cart's batteries died and i should get around replacing them but i don't think i'll ever play those games again (moreso with the remakes coming)
