Either colour will do, boxed/unboxed doesn't matter. It's region-free so it doesn't matter where you got it from.

If you have one to sell please quote a price. Shipping will be to the UK. If anyone has a Game Boy Player to sell I may also be interested.
Thread title:
Bummer, I sold my extra one 6 months ago, and it was still boxed. You might try SUPERPLAY. If any Ikaruga players still stop by there, they might be willing to sell, quite a few used the Hori pad.

But why would the Ikaruga players focus on that gamepad?  My Ikaruga gameplay could use a heck of a lot of improvement.    Tongue

Probably most of us remember that the SNES pad is the best. It feels good in your hands for long sessions. Probably the most imortant thing is the buttons have just the right flushness on the pad. I still wish PS1/2/3 would connect thier D-pad in the middle. BLAH when I think of what I could do if it were. Anyway, most consider the D-pad on the standard Game Cube controller to be to small to make accurate movement in Ikaruga. The Hori pad is the best alternative. (It also doesnt require an analog stick, something Hori pad doesnt have)
Thanks for the advice Zugzwang. I tried the Superplay forums but there's hardly any activity on there so I'm not feeling too optimistic about my chances. I don't suppose you're willing to let go of yours are you? Wink

I'm not looking for a Game Boy Player anymore either, just the Hori pad.
everybody wanna tell you the meaning of music

Are you kidding? The GC d-pad is so terrible, some people like Snapdragon actually used the analog. Shocked

The ikaruga/super-play forums are dead because everyone is on IRC anyway. I've never been on their channel but I'm sure you can find it.

Oh hell, two topics here looking for one and no sellers. This bodes badly for me. Tongue

I'm trying to obtain one as well. I found one on eBay for like $80 and was like... what, I'm not paying that much! But I might be out of luck here too Sad
I found an online one for $60, after seeing these topics I was looking into it, but wouldn't get enough use out of it to pay this much. However, if I ever did a Gameboy Advance run one of these would be extremely useful.
Just a quick bump as I'm still after one of these. There's one going on eBay at the moment, a Swedish seller offering a BiN for £99 (approx $150)... Roll Eyes
The $150 is still on eBay.  There's one on amazon.com for $60 still.  I did find something that could work just as well.  It's an adapter that lets you use a SNES controller on the wii/gamecube.  Here's the link: http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=31

Here's another one that works with NES controllers too: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Wii-VC-NES-SNES-2-IN-1-RETRO-CONTROLLER-ADAPTER-NEW_W0QQitemZ170486235456QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games_Accessories?hash=item27b1c58140
