Yeah if only we could save warp into the waterfall mouth that leads to the command melody area.If I ever did a run of this game I would definetly use save warping, no questions about it. My first 3 test segments were showing the advantages of savewarping at the beginnging of the game. We could definetly produce a sub 20 minutes when leaving Outset to the Forsaken Fortress Journey.

ok i wana sugest a few things
1.due to the extreme amount of magic we'll be using with the deku leaf i think we should get grannys soup and use the switch glitch to use it a lot and we can get that power boost
it would be usefull on molgera and ganon.
EDIT:its much faster than the double magic btw
2.i have a theory on how to skip makar scene.if we use unreals bomb boost+deku leaf(i no you already talked about it but just read)then try a quick jumpslash(like NDLs bomb jumpslash in TP) to get i little bit of extra hight.now heres where my theory might go wrong.im not sure if the cutscene is controled by the floormaster or by the seed.when you get up kill the floormaster then plant then seed.if the scene is activated by the floormaster then we just skipped the iron boots completely.lets cross our fingers

its my WW glitch group.there have been a lot of new glitches put up here lots have not been discussed here yet.all the tricks here should cut down 15-25 minutes!
4.to any1 who was looking for a dungeon skip:
i dont think it would be possible to skip any dungeon or get any dungeon early(Wint temple doesnt count because of the freeze).skiping drc or fw we wouldnt get the pearl and wouldnt be able get access to tog(but there is a theory i can try out with AR then try without)and skipping tog we wouldnt get the master sword and the wind temple freezes if we dont beat the earth temple so without a ganons castle early we cant skip wind or earth temple and i cant even get a ganons castle early with AR so thats out of the picture
5.sub 6:20?i think it can be lowered to sub 6 and if we wait a little for more tricks we can lower it to under 6

1. The switch glitch has been known. Well to me it has. I went through my whole test run with one exilir soup, which meant no magic upgrade.It helped my Ganon fight and just consuming refilling magic in general.

But planting that highest seed activates the cutscene. So if we get up to the top, we just grab makar and go thorugh the door, if its open that is.

It's pretty long but I dont know which point of the video MLX shows the soup glitch. Basically you drink the soup and quickly press start. Then put an item over the soup then unpause. Link will drink the soup but none of the soup will actually be dranken.Meaning you can go throughout the game with one soup.

Thanks for correcting me :).Yeah that is true about the effect being gone.We can probably do this before Molgera,and Ganon,and other minibosses and such.But what I did in a test run was drinking the soup when my magic ran low. I didn't use this glitch a lot but it became useful.I'm not too sure its the best strategy.We get the soup right before going to Jabun.But we need some other opinions to use the glitch in the run or not.I don't think there are other items that this glitch is useful for.[/quote]

I just tried that and It was strange how the bomb didnt drop when I pressed the B button.It only drops when getting the leaf out. I also tried my regular leaf boost theory then jumpslashing after getting the leaf out but there's a second delay when getting the leaf out,meaning even if I did jumpslash after the second delay, the bomb would be to far below me to boost.
And that door can only be opened after the Makar cutscene.And I just found some interesting things in the Makar cutscene room.Not to help us get across but just some strange manuvers. Alright so I was climbing the vines from the bottom of the room to the top. So I climbed up and instead of just climbing straight up the vine, when I got close to the cliff at the top I climbed at an angle like diagnol and I was litterally climbing in the air. I only got like 3 paces above the ledge. So basically I was climbing in the air.This works on any vines. Now the other.I had Makar in the the corner near the door that leads to the exit at the top left pasrt of the vine,where I did my other glitch.There is little walking space between Makar and the ledge.So I ran in that spot and Link jumps off the ledge, but this is what I did. Right when Link was about to jump off I angled him towards this pillar and he jumped over Makar and half of Link's head looked as if it was in the pillar, I'm not to sure.Possibly we could clip through the pillar and maybe walk into the next rooms loading zone, skipping the cutscene.I'll try to upload a video of this but I did the best explanation I could.
EDIT: Just found another.In that same corner. I dropped Makar into the corner and he fell though the map.But if he falls to far you respwn at the door you last came out of. I tried taking control of Makar before we respawned but when you switch to him you respawn right away

ya but we will only be using the power boost for ganon and molgera and i dont think we'll be saving in the middle of the battle, and the magic effect doesnt wear off after saving so ya overall it will save some good time

The glitch is necessary for refilling magic, and thanks for mentioning that about the Helmeroc King. The glitch can be used for that too.

Look at 3:04.I'd sat it would save 30-45 seconds if done right.
Also im replayin the whole game to try to find more timesavers and sequence breaks.All I've found so far are pointless glitches

Ya the other week i went through the game with AR and its impossible to skip any dungeon so the only sequence break we can do is skiping part of a dungeon.Damn nintendo for making this game so linear!

I've got a strategy mapped out for this to work. We blast open the blue vase warp and go snatch the grappling hook. We then save warp to the entrance after collecting the GH. Then at the start of the next segment we jump in the green vase and over to the blue.Then do my trick and once we get the boss key, save warp. Then that 3rd segment would lead to warping to the yellow vase and taking care of Ghoma.Dragon Roost Cavern is now in 3 easy segments, luckly my trick has its own segment, which means lots of optimization.

Man, that trick was sick, it looks extremely hard.
Very good job though, I'm sure it can be done in a run once you get the timing down.
