Hey Bottles, as a friendly piece of advice... use the modify button when posting. Double posting, and betond, is a sin.

Good luck etc. Been looking for a 1st quest run with a traditional green tunic for a while, for my own silly reasons.

Also a question to those incharge, what is needed for 100%?

Is skipping the figurines an option? I ask as they are even more pointless than the arrow upgrade in Alttp, which is skipped in the 100% run for that game. They also pretty much destroy any chance of a 100% run happening otherwise.

What do you mean by modifying??? And when I reply do I always need to press quote or can I just press reply?

I assume figurines must be collected in 100%. And i will be using the classic green hero clothes Smiley

Figurine collecting is really a lot to do I agree but 100% means 100%. I dont even think anybody has the guts to do a 100% TWW speedrun :-/

As for the 100% comment, yeah normally I would agree. Though in this case there is a collectable which is completly pointless. As there are have been cases in the same series where things have been skipped, (Maps, Compass etc as well as the upgrades I mentioned in Alttp) and the run is considered 100% (Rightly IMO) the figurines should not be required.

Yes you should ask the people in charge if its necessary

Heres the super boost. I did it on a chu just to show what it looks like. The actual boost is done on a moblin or darknut. Since its hard to duplicate I couldnt show what the actual boost looks like.

As I see TSA is posting in this thread... I noticed in segment 21 around 6:25 when the screen warps, that the rupee count goes from 7 to 455.

This discontinuity is suspicious.

You get the same amount of rupees as you had during the first time you fought those bosses. Strange, ain't it?

The problem, really, is that I moved into a new situation where I rarely have time for anything, let alone speedrunning. I think about the game now and then but with everything going on, I haven't even been online for weeks and I'm a computer addict. Unfortunately I haven't really made any discoveries about WW either. All my experimenting has shown is that io really chop the time you'd have to find a way to get something major early, and at least as far as chests are concerned, although the game determines where these objects will be from the moment you start a new game, you are not able to retrieve them before collecting the map of where they are. We've seen Kazooie get into temples and caves early and even collect items early, but with no practical application. Perhaps we could look for a skip in the first half of the game?

So DRybes your saying before we start, we should find a major sequence break? I started my run like right now and had a pretty good time for the first two segments. But I might be able to shave 4 seconds.

But anyways, I'm not sure what to look for really. The only thing I could think of is to maybe skip the Triforce collection. Maybe when the entrance to Hyrule Castle disappears we could clip into ToG or something....I dont know, but I get your point.

Dunno where else this can be done, but it might have a use somewhere. This can be done with the Tingle Tuner as well.

I recall being able to do a similar dive in the ice isle cavern. The wind from the tunnel could push you and you would fall to the bottom of that area under the water and it took a while to resurface.

I might've found a glitch to get unlimited knights crests.

I took this game from a friend and got up to the wind temple. I was in the room with the boss key with the 3 darknuts. I beat them, took the knights crests (i may have only took 2, for some reason after killing all 3 there were only 2 of the black orb thingys to hit, and i'm not 100% possitive I actually got the knights crests, but I probably did, because I wouldn't let them just sit there) After I killed all 3 and all that I took the boss key and saved and turned of the wii. Later on I went back on and realized i left the deku midget in the boss room, so I went back to the boss room, and for some reason the fight with the 3 darknuts started again. I'm positive they dropped knights crests this time, and after killing them again, the boss key chest was already opened, and I had the boss key before I went in the room. So I really have no clue what went on.

Or you can just keep going to shark island's grotto over and over again. I already have 99 knight crests by doing what I just said.

Also I might have come across a huuuuuge break, it's a theory.

Yeah I need to practice more(rolling).My first test segments were rather embarrassing. I havent played the game in a while. And just to throw this out. Does everyone know that in the Tower of Gods, in the room where you need to grapple hook to the second statue and grapple to the hero's bow that you can `just use the deku leaf instead of grappling from room to room. Just wondering, it should be old and known, but TSA didn't do that in his run.
