My feelings on The Demon Rush
The board was created in response to this topic.

Seriously though, that topic does have good ideas, and having this forum lets everyone make a topic for their own stream. Also, the current stream topic is becoming congested and should be replaced with a master topic.

I don't know if this board will be rendered obsolete when Nate switches from SMF to Taiga.

it should actually become way better since runners will be able to embed their streams right into their threads. should be similar to m2k2's streaming board except a lot more active.

spread the dirt to the populace
imo:

- lock the megathread, no need for it anymore

- make a sticky post with the good stuff from that megathread (master list of speedrunners, my emulator streaming guide, that one capture program Alice linked)

- more clearly encourage everyone to make their own thread

Is it okay to slightly deviate from that guide if I want to use Ustream's codec and have a microphone built into my laptop?
