Which runs are you downloading? Which servers are you choosing? What is the exact KB/s you're getting as you download? Is it doing this for all your downloads? Why didn't you post this under Tech Support?
Right click and save target. You'll get the whole video, and can watch it offline. It will take longer, but at least you can leave your computer and watch it later.
Your computer speed doesn't matter, it's the connection. Lately the US servers have been slow, so you'll just have to deal with it. Or just download multiple files at a time.

Because you touch yourself at night.[/Family Guy reference]
To be productive, what quality run are you downloading? That could have a lot to do with it as well. Also, as others have said, the servers could very well just be slow when you try it. Try back in a day if you can't leave it up overnight, and it'll probably start rocketting along. Besides, 30 minutes isn't that long to wait, is it? Go watch a TV show or do something else equally pointless to pass the time.
I've noticed it takes significantly longer if you're downloading three other things at the same time, compressing two large files and trying to watch a speedrun.
This is my way of asking, is it the only high computer usage application that you're running?
Don't think I assume you're thick, I'm just throwing suggestions into the void.
