and is willing to type out what they do? i want to help mits out because he's the only on attempting to beat the record up now...but he aint letting me help him...he just in denial...like my 1h42m time was because it was segmented... not becuase of skill...

Did you just create a topic for the sole purpose of spite?  Relax already.  Just practice the game yourself and send a singl-segment run to Radix.  You don't need to see the current run if you've already smashed it. 

And if you want to see if try getting someone to download and burn it to DVD for you...that's what I did in order to see some of the stuff on Shin's site.:-)

true... but i wanna know what she did in the current run up... not for me but for mits... or whatever... true i could careless... i did beat it... but i wanna help gamers out... not hide stuff like yourself...

I do not accept any excuse for "I can't watch videos" except "my computer blew up".

What about my excuse: I don't own a computer.:-p  I'm only online when I'm at a friends house.:-D

And Kniferun: since when do I hide stuff?  I put my Silent Hill run online at this site and that showed everything I knew about that game at that time.  Just because I can't explain in text how to go through the snake in RE:1 without getting poisoned (knife only) doesn't mean I'm trying to hide stuff...it means I can't explain it properly in text so you'll have to see it for yourself....and you know you can always buy the runs on DVD if you really want to see them.

He doesn't give a damn about speedruns.:-p  And he certainly won't let me spend 30 hours downloading a run from this site...(56K modem).  Thankfully I don't really care whether I see anything or not...I'm too busy working on my own stuff. Cheesy

1) I rarely if ever lie.

2) So I'm suppose to get out of work at 3:30, rush to a library, and give myself a good 1 hour to fully download runs..plus I wouldn't be able to burn them to a DVD to watch them at home.

I never said it's not because of Skill, I said it's because segmented games allow for easier tuning than single-segments.

When you mess of in Segments (And you always do), you can go bacl a little ways and start over.

If you mess up in Single-Segment (And again, you always do) you have a choice to either start all-over again, or keep on going with your current mistakes.

I decided to go on and not start-over and THAT is why my time is so bad. It's not lack of skill.

I'm not in denial, and I'm not saying you don't have skill. It's just the differences between Single-Segment and Multi-Segmented.

i garentee you my time has nothing to do with multi segments or single segments...its because of my route and techniques...

and when it comes to me watching video... i can because i do not have the time to wait on a download.... because as we all know with phone line connections... you have to keep the line busy for the net...and i have people calling me and me and other people calling out... so its not like io can keep the net on 24/7.... if i could i would... i know theres ways i can tsya online...either change my connection or get 2 phone lines...but forget that i have money to spend on completely needed things...

and that download manager thing doesnt work and i cant find other ones...

I think it does reflect lack of skill.. but that kind of skill is not quite human, to be so consistant at performing everything perfectly everytime, so we just have to hope to get as much perfect performance in one run as we can with our human abilities. human abilities lack perfect skills. we aren't error-free. mistakes can be enjoyable too, so it's all good.

just in case you guys aren't aware already, the top japanese time for Chris is 1:37:23 with 6 saves (7 segments). that would be a very respectable goal if you were going for something great (sure, why not? :))
