How did my screen name come about?
I wanted a screen name that reflected a series I liked in the video game world.
In the end I knew it had to be something to reflect off of my favorite 3-D game the Ocarina of Time.

My original Screen name I used for other things was MasterLink64. It sounded okay but I wanted to fix it up a bit.
After about a long 20 minutes of thinking about it.. I came up with: FierceLinkMaster6400. The number is just for looks.

The bad thing is that it is a bit long...but still nice in all caps  Tongue
I would use a much simpler name depending on what I'm using it for.

Did the Fierce part have anything to do with Fierce Deity?....
...I actually don't know....

KratosJudgment6
My name is actually a spoiler.

Back in May (When I created this account back on Gamefaqs) I was obsessed with Tales Of Symphonia and since all the people on the board who were well known were named Kratos, I followed along (He wasn't even my favorite character) and decided to add his secret (Well you have to take a different path to get it) attack to the name followed by my favorite number, 6.

My other name, mikeylikesoccer I made back in like 4th grade. It was first called soccerlikey because I played soccer and it was my favorite sport. I thought it was a crappy name and decided to change it to mikeylikesoccer because my name is mike. Soccerlikey had been my original and still used AIM screen name along with TalesSymphonia24 (4th and most recently made one) (Don't remember if it was before or after kratosjudgment6 was invented) My second was mikeylikessoccer on AIM. In 5th grade I did this one strange voice that was named bill jones (It was a hobo voice...) It was my 3rd account on AIM.
First forum I ever registered at was DK64 Central (totalgaming.com).  I've stuck with this name ever since then.

I'd kill for a nobel peace prize...
I've been a lurker of these forums for quite a while now and finally decided to make a post for once....

Trinexx is quite obvious to most people here as a boss from Zelda: A Link to the Past.

I decided to use it after my first experience of playing games online. My middle name is Thor and thought that it would be a cool name to use while trying to play Half Life deathmatch for the first time. Just so happens that the first server I ever join, another person has the same name I was using. So I look around my room and find my nearly destroyed Zelda:ALTTP strategy guide lying on the floor opened to the pages on bosses. I look though it briefly and decided that Trinexx was the coolest name of the bunch.

Ive been using it for 6 years now and have had minimal people using the same name since (only when I played Graal but that was kind of expected)

Hey trinexx, were you enrolled in a Starcraft clan known as "SE-" a very long time ago?
I'd kill for a nobel peace prize...
SE..... that rings a bell but I don't remember being in a clan during my Starcraft days (which were a long time ago). What did it stand for?
XXY
Shadow Elites. It was run by a guy named "SE-KillaD." I remember it very vividly. I was "SE-Snake_Bite." I even have a map called "Isles of the Sinistrel" made by "SE-trinexx-," it just rang a bell Wink

Damn thats freaky... I DID make that map (and if I recall it wasn't that great of one, but it was 4 islands with 2nd/level hill just around the crystals).

So yeah I guess I was a part of that clan and know you from then. I have pretty hazy memory of my starcraft days but this is extremley weird....

I'd say.... But I suppose it's good to hear from you Tongue

The number is for looks? So it looks annoying? :-/
.: The one and only ixfd64 :.
A long time ago, I was addicted to the game Final Doom. The game's site was teamtnt.com/ixfd.htm. For some reason, I thought that "ixfd" sounded cool. The game had 64 levels, and I thought that 64 was a cool number (I guess Nintendo 64 started the trend), so that's how I picked it.
Now a hit show on the CW
I'm a DDR freak. I wanted a subtle way to point that out, and this was the result. It has nothing to do with archery, although recently (like a year ago) I did become a fan of the Green Arrow comic book series, by pure coincidence.
give me your eyes!!!
I have a friend with a celtic dictionary, that provides names for many many online games.
However, some looked cool but were hard to pronounce and nobody remembered, annoying when we were near the top of the Splinter Cell: Pandorra Tomorrow leader board and no one knew who I was Tongue
So I made this name because I thought it sounded catchy and certainly sticks in the mind.
He called himself Zee Deveel for the same reason, but those old celtic names are still good for World of Warcraft Smiley
Rock on, Earthbound. Rock on.
Hero Penguin...  For a number of years now, Penguins have been among my favorite animals (along with cats, certain kinds of birds, and others), and convieniently, penguin stuffed toys are rather easy to find.  Over the years, I keep getting penguins as gifts, or parts of gifts, or even sometimes just randomly because someone saw one.  It was determined that I was, in fact, King of the Penguins.  That doesn't quite have a great ring to it though.  So instead, I changed it to the Hero of the penguins (because you can be both a king and a hero anyway), and the first place I used that name was in my City of Heroes beta account, and it stuck ever since.

Once upon a time, I was a voodoopenguin, but then someone took it.  When I'm not Hero Penguin, I go by Treehamsterman2, Izlude, and Vallan.  The latter two are RP related, and the treehamster man...  That was inspired by a comic and I like the ring of it so much I kept it.
Nystroem is my last name... well, actually it's Nyström, but you americans doesn't use that crappy letter... good for you ;)... and instead of Ö you type OE Smiley

If not Nytroem, I like to go under the name of Zero_Mission

Guess you can figure out why Smiley
Phauxe is one of my 2 nicknames I use.

First I try Phauxe then I'll try my alt nickname if Phauxe is already taken (Wekip).

Phauxe originated from when I played SSBM waaaaaay too much.  Betcha you can't guess who my main character was Wink

I just wanted an alternate spelling though, and well... this happened!

My alternate nickname came from when I was 8 (but that's NOT when I started using the internet :P)

When I was 8, pokemon was still avidly popular w/ the masses.  I went about abominating them w/ my horendous artwork, and one day decided to create my own.  Being that I'm not very artistically creative, I just decided to mix 2 existing ones.  What ended up being was Mew (which team rocket was after) and Pikachu (also chased after by team rocket) being mixed together by team rocket after they had succeeded in obtaining both, the said "master pokemon."

I didn't have a name for it though! What was I to do?

I tryed to mix the names, but the 2 best possiblities didn't really appease me (Pikew, or Mewchu).  If you're observant, you'll notice that Pikew is Wekip backwards.

So yeah... that took a bit to long to tell...

The Unreal Authority.
I used to play unreal on heat.net and I just made it up. little did I know that it's actually a word.

al·lan·to·is
n. pl.

A membranous sac that develops from the posterior part of the alimentary canal in the embryos of mammals, birds, and reptiles. It is important in the formation of the umbilical cord and placenta in mammals. Also called allantoid.

I don't think I pronounce it like them though. Needless to say, biology majors are always commenting on it when I play online.

IMHO it's important to not take yourself too serious. I also don't like people giving themselves titles, titles can only be given by others. And yes, I consider boasting nick-names titles too, i.e. everything containing "master" or most nicks starting with "The"..
Now a hit show on the CW
I like "The Silent Adventurer", although maybe an even better choice would be "The Speedy Adventurer" Wink

Alongside "The Spin Attack," should be the catch phrase, "Too Cool for Hyrule.... TSA."
