Stand: Devil's Call in your Heart
capture card (S-video atm since i hooked up the N64 this way to try to get better quality)
if you're only capturing at d4 then there's no way to tell if it's >f2 or d1.
Stand: Devil's Call in your Heart
i see.

looks like i have to wait until i get my DVD recorder.

I made a sample and encoded it in Anri-Chan using d4, f2, 3d, hq mp4:

http://files.filefront.com/sample+HQmp4/;8325410;;/fileinfo.html

Can anyone check if these are the correct settings?
If this is supposed to play at 20 fps then yes, it's good.
Yarr
Yes, I've recorded it at 20 fps.
Everybody loves Hypnotoad!
Well, here's a sample from Metroid Prime 3.  Since we'll have a speedrun of it in the not too distant future, and there's always trick videos to be done, we might as well do this now.

d1 f1 3d is my guess...
correct.

it's a beautiful sight.
Maybe I'm off-topic but just hear me out. When I encoded a movie earlier today, the sound was A LOT late (probably due to Framerate) and there were green disturbances at the bottom of the screen. Is this a side effect of not entering in the correct values? I would upload an sample but it doesn't work to make a sample :S.
Here's the error line well, the two error lines when extracting a sample:

Avis [error]: Unsuported input format (DIB)
x264 [error]: Could not open input file 'sample.avs'

yeah it looks like the sample extraction tool failed. the green stuff could be due to a bad dvd recorder. definitely upload a sample .vob if you can to one of the file sharing places listed in the faq, preferably filefront or yousendit. you can also make a torrent; pm me if you want to do that and i'll send you the url to our tracker.

what's the game in question and what system is it on?
Fantastic Dizzy and Sega Genesis (Mega Drive)
it's overwhelmingly likely that it's d4 f1 2d.

Killer 7

I was playing in 50hz mode in that video. Reading the KB, I'm thinking D1 and F1/F2?

I'll be playing in 60hz mode later on but the D and F will be the same right?

Edit:
Parasite Eve 2

It's the PAL version played on the PS1. I think my DVD recorder is even dominant, but still not sure.

D1 / F2  -edit- Or D4.. hard to tell.
yeah i think it's d4. just it was butchered really badly in the conversion to pal so there's all kinds of crazy crap going on. updated the df page.
Awesome, thanks guys.

Now with non-stupid framerate

So, yeah... I have kind of already been told that it's d1 f2, but I'll put this here anyway.

Mischief Makers Nintendo 64

I cannot extract a sample as the file I created from VDub will not be looked at and my run is being imported straight to my computer with a VCR as the medium.

Yeah, it's a PC game, and that's what I've been using. Just wanted to double check.

Speed is the key.
I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to help me determine the D and F of a game. The game in question is Starfox Adventures, for Gamecube.

I uploaded a to small clip. I hope it's okay to upload plain .VRO's... the clip is PAL-60, if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance.
Speed is the key.
Thanks a lot.
don't forget to add them to the df page. i've done it for this one and smg.
You guys mind telling me the D and F of FF8 PC version, uploaded a short clip at http://files.filefront.com/Testavi/;9358685;/fileinfo.html.
