Heya, I was wondering, wht drives you to master a game?
I guess I'm asking the age-old yet complex question of "Why do we speedrun?"
Like,  what do you find the most fun when it comes to taking on the ambition of mastering a game for speedrunning?

F*ckin' sanity effects...
There just wasn't a good run anywhere online of the only game I've ever chosen to run seriously (Eternal Darkness segmented).  I think if there had been a good effort out there, I wouldn't have done it.  I wanted to see it, so I had to do it.  There still isn't a GREAT run of Eternal Darkness anywhere online.  Maybe I'll make one some time.  That's what drives me.

I understand that feeling completely. Whenever, I start a game throughout the day I keep on thinking about that only (even when I am not playing). It gives me a feeling of satisfaction when I master a game and I also brag afterwards to my little sister.
