e1m2 is the second map in the first episode of Quake.
e1 = episode 1
m2 = map 2
Forexample, e4m7 would be the 7th map in the fourth episode.
ER is short for Easy Run. EH is short for Easy 100%, NR is short for Nightmare Run, etc etc.
