1-Up!
Sweet Stuff - great run. My slides at the end always land on top of the cage. Thats the best you can do AFAIK.
Stonecarving City - Also a great run. Going to be hard for me to provide competition when you leave no room for improvement
FWIW I dash jump at the beginning of the run back. Not sure if it's any quicker but for the record my best there is 2:09:17 i believe, which is only .2 faster than yours. I average in the 2:09:00 range normally.
can anyone confirm that jumping over those two sets of bandineros at the end is faster than running through them? seems like there's a slight bit of slowdown in speed when you hit them. i accidentally hit one in this run but i think it's faster to jump both.
edit: did a new run that should be much faster. i still ran into one of the damn bandineros during the escape though. ;(
I had always assumed (although I don't have the means of proving this either way) that wario's horizontal speed doesnt suffer when running through enemies/boxes. If it does though, it's by mere hundredths of a second probably.
Another thing, while I'm thinking about it. Do you think there is a significant difference when approaching a ladder sitting flush with a wall between
dash jumping towards it, hitting back to cancel your dash and up to grab the ladder
or
dash jumping, hitting the wall for a little bonus height and climbing from there. I guess it depends on how long it takes to recoil off the wall versus the height gained.
