Beep bitch. Beep.
Tradition..?
Smash..since it came out for the N64, and when SSBM came out. Played it almost every week with a friend of mine for over 2 years for Smash 64, and almost 5 for SSBM..I think.

the only sorta tradition i have is since as long as i can remember is me and 3 mates have player multiplayer bomberman on the snes. Either super bomberman or super bomberman 2.
Its so much damn fun, love it loads even now, just drinking and playing.
On bomberman 2 if you won the little tournament thing you would become the G-Bomber and get a little prize, but over time for us it became G-Buffer (think my mate got confused when he was high once). Hence one of my mates nicknames coz he used to own us back then is G-Buff. Smiley

Weeeeeeeell...

My parents played Sonic 2 almost as much as I did when I was young. My dad used to think he was good when he got three hits in succession on the Silver Sonic at the end. I think he may have got four once. And now, many years later, I know how as well. =P

At school, it took a lot of rounding up to find enough people that have or want to play GameCube regularly, but two years ago we started our own tradition: every school holidays we meet up at one particular friend's house, somebody brings a second GameCube, we all bring controllers and the eight of us play whatever games we can find. Our host has about 30 games by himself, so with my measly 8 I don't need to bring any. Our mix is normally along the lines of SSBM, Mario Party 4/5, 007 Nightfire (I swear we know all the maps by heart by now), Burnout 2, F-Zero GX, and more recently Mario Power Tennis.

But by far the most prestigious event at our so-called Gatherings is the SSBM tourney. Towards the end of the day we set up a tournament melee - each player gets two different characters, and if you draw yourself in the first round, well, bad luck. =P

Come to think of it, I haven't won said tourney in a year and a half - and the next (and quite possibly last) Gathering is on Thursday. Time to practice up!
DMC3,ZOE2 and Xenosaga 2. Am I crazy?
My mom always plays the newest Final Fantasy trough with me. We started this when FF7 came out.
