2-4 Castle Ruins
Level 2-5 Magnus Battle
I had to come back and replay this level. The first time I didn't worry about leveling up Huxley, but then when I got to 3-3 I realized I wanted his Stone Shower attack spell. So I came back and re-did this level and the following levels to make sure I got Huxley to Level 12 here.
Victory in 3 turns. In this level I was able to take advantage of a couple of enemy quirks. Some enemies don't move until you are in their range or until enemies earlier in the level are dead. So if you don't kill certain enemies and if you don't get too close, the golems and 2 of the madsoldiers should not move in this level. The second quirk is that if an enemy boss has ranged spells that they can cast, they will move forward into open space to cast their spell and leave themself open to attack. I really benefitted from having 3 hawknights this level. It's important to have Sara at Level 12 so that she has Healing Plus and can heal the damage done to our hawknights after Turn 1.
Key Parts of the Battle - The first movements are important. I moved my two hawknights a little further than everyone else and spread them out. This ensures that each of the two archers on the side can only attack one person, the hawknight on their side of the map. We draw in the ghost and the 2 madsoldiers. Then in Turn 2 we kill them off. We move our hawknights up and heal them with Sara. This makes Magnus come forward to use his spell. On Turn 3 we kill him in 4 actions. 3 hawknight attacks and 1 Piercing Ray.
Save after some exposition at 1:39
