Ok, since no one seems to want to try and post a possible adult route, here I go. Rip it to shreds for all I care, but hey, its a start:
NOTE: This is assuming the Shadow Temple cannot be entered early and the Spirit Temple was completed as a child BEFORE becoming an adult. Also, if I remember correctly, the Ice Cavern was skipped. EDIT: I GUESS NOT
Go to Kakariko Go to Graveyard Get Hylian Shield (While it is possible to get the Mirror Shield first, if you have to get the Hookshot, it takes what another 30 seconds for this) Get Hookshot - I don't think this start was ever disputed. Scale Death Mountain to Goron City Warp to Lost Woods Sacred Forest Meadow Finish Forest Temple - Again, I don't think this was ever disputed. EDIT: SINCE IRON BOOTS ARE NECESSARY Kokiri Forest Lost Woods warp to Zora's River Zora's Domain Ice Cavern Warp to Water Temple Complete Water Temple - (If the Ice Cavern and Iron Boots are skipable, then I think starting from the Forest Temple would have to be the fastest way to the Water Temple by just backwalking there without using the Serenade of Water.) Requim of Spirit Complete Spirit Temple - Doing the Spirit Temple now would mean no unnecessary warping later. Minuet of the Forest Lost woods, Goron City Stop Goron get Goron Tunic Go right Longshot the Ladder Drop down to the block Longshot the wood to the left of where the scarecrow appears Complete Fire Temple - Pretty basic stuff. Backwalk to Kakariko Learn Nocturne of Shadow Complete Shadow Temple - The fastest route to the Temple of Time would be coming from Kakariko since the Prelude of Light was never learned. Temple of Time Ganon's Castle
I guess at any point the Spirit Temple can be done, although I believe the longshot is needed. But there doesn't seem to be any reason to do it any earlier. The Mirror Shield would only be helpful early if you didn't get the Hylian Shield. Again I am sure I missed something, but hey, its a start, let the discussions begin.
QooIsBack: I'm pretty sure that we need the Ironboots in the water temple... If we can't get into shadow early.
DUH!!! I forgot the only way to beat the Water Temple without the Iron Boots was with the Hoover Boots, my mistake. Updated the route then to include the whole Ice Cavern deal, so until someone challenges it I guess it will stand, for now.
A simple legal adult route theory --- Get Hookshot Lost woods Learn Minuet of the Forest Lost Woods Ice Cavern Water Temple Spirit Temple Minuet of the Forest to Forest Temple Kokiri Forest Goron Tunic (skip Bolero with Longshot) Fire Temple Nocturne of the Shadow Shadow Temple Light Arrows
The Hylian Shield is not needed until the Forest Temple. (meaning I don't have to get it) The cool part is we get to use the Longshot and Farore's wind on all the Temples.
i just found what is (to my knowledge) the smallest time saver that we have found yet it save .5-2 seconds max so its almost completely useless but anyways.
as most people know on the right side of the gate where you enter gannons castle you can use hookshot on it. well what you do is as you're going on the rainbow bridge you simple go as far right as you can and a pretty close to the beggining of bridge then you simple hookshot the little side that you can and jump onto the end of the raindbow bridge and into gannondorf's(sp?) castle.
to my knowledge the only way it saves time is if you have the longshot but otherwise its useless heck even with the longshot its practically useless.
one other useless glitch that im almost sure is already know but i have not found anybody speak of is.
If you enter the runnerman's house on epona (simple put epona head inside the right post slowly lean left until you cant anymore then use a carrot) then all you do is warp to hylia lake and epona there and links invisible AND if you use arrowws or hookshot or C-up anywhere on the map it assumes you're under epona. I have tried useing this to get to other places (desert collosus included) but all i've found to work so far is lake hylia. again this is useless but it may help someday. I forgot to say that epona is stuck on the warp pad and as of posting this i cant get her down.
Helpful:maybe probably no Dangerous:not at all to get epona back just use eponas song anywhere epona can go and to get link back to normal just enter a different area.
Edit: I fixed those spelling mistakes dang it.
Edit2: I get it now I'm sorry for using "Gannon" when it should be "gannondorf" and sorry also if i misspelled gannondorf's name

I'm pretty sure that would be deemed mysterious teleportation from your description.
Just make the the thread already. Otherwise you will get beaten to death because you are consciously breaking the rules: "deliberately refusing to get the point and just going round in circles adding no new stuff" Plus if you do it I'll upgrade you to the Level 4 list.
What are these levels you speak of? Man I'm so lost. I want to contribute but everything keeps going back and forth. Guess I'll just have to be patient...
Okiyama - please stop posting so much and start reading instead. You're not being helpful.
I've deleted [some of] this latest tangent for being useless. I hope no one (Okiyama excluded) minds.
Strangness, you're doing an excellent job. Things have been alot better on SDA because of you Okiyama..things will continue to be alot better when I start redirecting certain people to your thread. Okiyama's epona --- Now that we have a route (atleast for now) We can work on speed tricks for Individual Levels. Much like what Acryte was working on for the Deku Tree. While a run is ready to be preformed now.. using tricks like the ones in the Deku Tree are what will make the run an unforgettable experince.
I got some speed tricks for dodongo's cavern, you might already know them, but TSA didn't use them in his 4:57 run, so anyway:
1) In the first hallway with baby dodongos, backrun all the way and backflip onto the ledge, slightly faster than climbing it.
2) In the room were you have to push an armos statue to reveal a ladder, just backflip onto the armos statue and then climb up onto the ledge and press the button, slighly faster than pushing the armos and climbing the ladder (if done correctly).
3) In the room with the floor spikes were you have to throw a bomb to blow a wall, you can easily throw the bomb to the ledge so that it stays there, then jump after it and run to the left so that you wont get hurt from the explosion. 2-3 seconds faster.
I hope you understand my explanation, unfortunately I don't have the means to put vids up.
Edit: I have the best route possible (AFAIK) for DC written down if anyone wants it... Ok, maybe not a route ::), but... fastest way to complete each room. _____________________________________________
As for the kid route, will you go for jabu-jabu before dodongo's cavern?

....why wouldn't I want it? The dungeons will be preformed in order.

Ok, I just thought that you already knew it and it would be uneccesary posting it... anyway, just tell me if there is something you don't understand.

This would be the ultimate way I think, some things might be too hard to do, but I have actually been able to beat TSA's DC time myself using this path. Most of it is the same old way, but there is some new stuff.
1) Go to fishing pond as a kid. 2) Catch the 10 pound fish that would get you a piece of heart. 3) Swim to the middle of the pond, then hold L+R (on gamecube) and walk up to the fisherman and talk to him. 4) Weight your fish. 5) Tadaa! Golden scale.
