Are podcasts scripted? I dont think they are. It's best to scrap the Script writer and recorder, because the recorder will eiter be the host or someone there, using audacity? Its just my opinion Grin

The DJ just does the news of upcoming runs, runs just posted on SDA forum, and runs just posted on SDA. The DJ also plays the audio from the Interviews, talks about current video game updates/resent releases, discuses presently new found glitches for a particular game, and also just talks about video games/video game systems/ETC.  in general.

So just a reminder that we still need the Head/Host DJ position filled and also the Guest DJ position filled. Plus whatever is still available on the job list.

This is cool and all, but could you please call it the Unofficial SDA Podcast? Official would imply that the staff is running it. What's the deal with people randomly calling stuff "official" anyway? Not to hate, but it has a real meaning.

Also it's weird to see this, but I'm glad to see you're acting maturely now. I singlehandedly saved you on several occasions from being the 2nd banned member at SDA. Also it's weird to see Lag sign up because he hated you and banned you from the old IRC channel, but it is true that he craves power in any form. Anyway, keep up the good work. Smiley

just curious to who's gonna be speaking in the podcast?  if there's still an american speaking spot open i'd love to do it  :-*.  i'd probably speak exactly like i did in the avp commentary, so you have something to go on.

well do you want to be DJ host?  The DJ and also the interviewer/Interviewees are all speakers.

First of all, does everyone here agree that the podcast should be recorded over Skype? This would also mean that someone here would have to have a software that allows them to record audio taken from an application. The audio would of course, be recorded from the conference call on Skype.

Does anyone have a different idea on how we should record these episodes?

Well, any recording audio software that uses the windows layer will be able to record from 'Master Audio' anyway, so that's pretty much a non-issue.

At the current moment I can't get Skype to create me a user account.  So what should I do? I get this error every time i try to make an account.  I use a Gmail E-mail account, do not put in my full name, put in correctly the password and username, and did not choice location or added city.    ERROR-    Skype Can't Connect.  Try the following: (1) Contact your network administrator. (2) Restart Skype and wait 2 minutes for it reconnect automatically.

Tried both things and tried to contact Skype via support question on the question FAQ page of there website but no luck.  Please help me out so we can get this rolling.
