I do not know of the best way for all interesting guests of this meeting to change the place from 'copenhagen' to south germany ? We all must vote for the best place of this drunk meeting.
I think 'Kibbo' has a long way to visit south germany and also for the 'czech republic'.

Quake on Console Voting :

N64 - Quake . one controller
PSX - Quake II , I have only two controllers and no mouse.
PS2 - Quake III , Revolution (the worst of all parts) no mouse
DC - Quake III , Arena (the best produced port for consoles !) one controller and one keyboard, no mouse

I can only bring up one console of voting with all cables/equipment and the game disc.

I just wanted to mention that we have an attic also, that I completely forgot about. Proper flooring, light, electricity and WiFi included Grin

But I guess as many here have a proper job and suitable fundings, they'd prefer a hotel.

Finding a hotel nearby should be no problem, but the ones in town have prices starting at about 45€ for a single night. Don't know about discounts if you stay longer. Staying somewhere in Munich should also be no problem. From Central Station to my house it's about an hour and the connection is pretty much 22\7, with a two hour break between 1am and 3am. "Freising bei München" is way closer, but has a rather bad connection with public transport. If some people come by car it shouldn't be a problem to get them home in the evening.
I guess that way it should be no problem to find a hotel rather nearby that's cheap because of next to no public transport connections. In general it should be way cheaper to book the hotels online, as I've often heard they'd offer much better prices that way.

The easiest way for international visitors should be booking a flight to munich airport. But I have no idea about the costs.
And that's what I was talking about in the earlier post when I said southern Germany might not be "central" for everybody.

We shuued startd a poll about the meeting place. I don't realy have a clue how's from were so I have no Idee what is good for everyone. for me Germany woud be better Munich woud be great.

I don't know i a simple poll is a good option, yet.
Who would be able to host besides Ewil and me and where?

In the meantime, I tried to check my programming by running it through the WIFE compiler.
It threw some of the usual warnings, like "method wife.clean(house) not found!", but also some notable ones. In detail those were "reconsider size of Array "OvernightGuests"" and "If workload==high, class wife needs to able to return "zero"".

So effectively the number of people I could offer beds is narrowed down a bit, but in general she's absolutely fine with it Smiley

I forgot to mention my capacities. Pretty much the entire 1st floor is available, which is 4 rooms with a space for 3-4 people in each, then another 4 could be in living room. As for internet connection, I'm connected via 4mbit wifi, but I don't really know how many computers can be connected and how, I really don't understand networks. As for hotels, there's a decent one in nearby town, but I have no idea about bills, should be lower than in Germany for example. Since the transportation to my tiny village sucks really high, hotel would be the only option for people going with car.

I own no consoles, but we do have plasma TV with dvd recorder and the living room is about 9x6 metres connected with a kitchen, so if anyone brings a console, I see no problem about doing some console matches/challenges.

Currently, the house is occupied by me and my parents.

I wish I could go. Wish I lived in Germany still. My dad is in USA Army and we move a lot. (BTW was born in Germany). Love the idea though of bear drinking, fps tournys, chilling, and talking SDA; Man Europe seems a lot more cool then USA after reading this whole entire thread/topic for the first time. Damn I now want an (Un)official American SDA Drink-Together! (North/South America and nearby locations)

My feelings on The Demon Rush

Hey, I'm probably going to be taking a vacation in Europe this summer.

Still working out all of the details, but I know I'll be coming in around the 8-10th (probably in Belgium), and I'll be going to Norway to meet up with Frezy around the 18th or the 19th. I wouldn't mind stopping in Germany and/or Denmark for a couple of beers and maybe a song or two. Wink

You must drink netherlands, czech and denmark beer. This is gold like of beer.

This is the 'Fuckparade'. The event play music of industrial and speedcore and you can use beer or some others to feel the speed.
But this event has not a date for 2009. I do it not really know?

Well, it's starting to get painfully obvious that this event will not be taking place, at least not this year, or even if it will, it will be too short a notice for most people to get there. However, if there is something that haven't been stated in this thread concerning this meet-up, it would be nice if someone were to tell about it.

So... what sort of German beer did you drink? You can't be serious about claiming that Heineken, Budweiser or Tuborg are better than most of the German beers. Sorry for being off-topic but this gives me the heebie-jeebies (in a bad way).
