On the 9th & 10th of March (Sat/Sun) I have a free house and figured I would host a little meetup. It won't be anything special, just some food, drink & games. Bring your own TV/Consoles & money for food etc. We can probably sleep about 10 people but that can be expanded if necessary. I live in the South East, 10 minutes from Haywards Heath train station (which is on the London-Brighton mainline) by car. The house is 5 bedrooms so there will be plenty of room.

Post if interested, there aren't really any more details than that. If you want to show up Friday night, that would be possible. Odds are I'll be taking the 8th & 11th off work.

Edit: If you want to fly in, I live 15-20 minutes drive from Gatwick airport.

For bedding purposes, we have sleeping space for five in beds (two doubles, one single so you won't need pillows etc). We also have lots of floor space and I can get an air matress. We do have extra blankets, pillows and sleeping bags and all that stuff. I would suggest bringing your own just in case.

PS3 (two pads, 3 arcade sticks)
360 (one pad)
PS2 (Three pads, one multitap PAL)
GC (Two pads, PAL)
Two HD-TVs
Laptop
Gaming PC.

Let's do it, I can offer TVs, consoles (SMS, MegaDrive, PS2, Xbox) and rides (I live in Guildford and don't mind small detours e.g. Heathrow/Gatwick Airport). Actually Gatwick's probably on the way for me Smiley

I'm interested! I'd be taking the train from Hertfordshire so i'd only bring what I can fit in a rucksack, PS3/PS2/MegaDrive, a couple of games and whatever I'd need overnight.

Sounds interesting, and sicne you're in the south east, that's pretty close to me by train, and I could make my own way there from the station. I'll look into it and see what I got going on in the near future.

I just realised we can get a tent if necessary for extra sleepables. As it stands, let me worry about space for people. If you want to come, come. The figure of 10 is just so you know how much room we've got. I can easily accomodate more. We'll just open the windows and sleep in the hallways.

I can bring a snes, n64, cube or saturn (all Pal - snes is region modded) although I lack any tvs portable enough to bring along.

I live up in Scotland and would like to come along if that's ok. I could bring pads for pretty much anything but all my consoles are PAL. I do have a modded Wii with loads of NTSC VC games though.

Very much considering it, I finish uni on the 9th, so getting there would be much easier. Don't suppose there are any people planning to drive that'd feel like passing through Oxford (or near to, or whatever :P) on the way there, or would be going anywhere north (getting to Leeds being the ultimate goal) on the way back? I'd be happy to chip in for a ride, if so :D.

Well I would like an address or something so I know where I'm driving to as well as anybody who needs a lift from Guildford/Surreyish. Assumed that would come in a private thread.

Also we should probably have a little equipment list to add to Flicky's in the OP.

Here's what I can bring:

Master System (2 pads)
Mega Drive (4 pads, 1 joystick and a multi-tap I think Flicky has one of mine from AGDQ)
Playstation (2 pads and I THINK I have a multi-tap)
PS2 (2 pads, 2 guns and a multi-tap)
Xbox 360 (3 pads)
DS
GBA (If I can find the charger cable for it)
2 TVs (1 CRT 19" 1 1080p LED 22")
1 not-gaming Laptop with some emulators and 1 (currently unreliable) controller.

Sega consoles have aerial cables, Sony have Scart cables and the Xbox is Component. All consoles are PAL, the Mega Drive has a Game Genie so I can play imports.

I'll come up with a full games list of what I want to bring during this weekend, but will definitely include:

James Pond 2 (For the mandatory race with Adam)
Multiple Micro Machines Games (including Maniacs assuming I can find it!)
Point Blank 1 & 3
BATMANS (Both of the Arkhams and whatever 8/16 bit ones I can rustle up)
Mega Bomberman (4 player mode oh yes!)
Going to get Scott Pilgrim on XBLA during the week and happy to take suggestions on other XBLA games we should have too Smiley

Every awesome albeit emulated game the Amiga has to offer.

WOW.

I will be travelling down on the Friday and leaving Sunday morning. I can bring a PS2 and/or N64 if we need more; and I also plan on bringing a selection of multiplayer games and such too for PS1/2, and maybe some other stuff too.

Also, is anyone able to bring a copy of Micro Maniacs?

Robo looks like he's got most things covered but I can bring a PS3, TTT2 on PS3, UMVC3 on X360 and Chaos Engine on MegaDrive if Robo wants to try that coop before ESA.
I would bring a copy of DMC3 for a coop race but it doesn't seem like Jinny is coming to be my partner >:
