Head to the game list to see what games we currently have runs of.

To see the latest speed runs added to the site and stay up to date, keep an eye on the news.

If you'd like to do your own run on a new game, or to improve an existing run, please read the rules, FAQ, and submission pages.

Discuss your favorite runs and ideas for future runs on the forum.

Some runs are available for purchase on DVD. This would be a great choice for those of you out there stuck on modems, and an easy way to show speed runs to your friends and to support the site.

The first one.  As you can see here, you can access pretty much every section of the site from the front page without an issue.  Every one, except for the Quene.  I remember there being a way one time to access it from the home page, but then again, I'm probably just confused.  Anyways, to access the Quene, you have to go through the News or DVD page, and I don't understand how come this page is... well, kind of hidden.  I think there should be a direct link to the quene from the home page to make things easier.

I figure this one was a no brainer, but the next one may require a bit of extra work on Radix's part.

The second suggestion, is that we improve the Quene page so that it isn't just listed by how many runs are at a certain point, but to be a little more specific, either by listing the initials of the runs at that page, or having the numbers link to a new page where it gives you the initials (If you want to keep it neat like it is now.)  In its current point, I had to kind of guess the stage that my run was at.

"Let's see, so, I got the PM saying my run was submitted when the games awaiting capture to tape was at 7, the game doesn't NEED to be timed, I think, has an accurate timer, so let's see... Oooo!  It's up to being verified!"  When it wasn't the case.

So, with my suggestion, it'd look like...

Ready for update: 2 (S. M., LOZ:MM)
Waiting for author's comments: 1 (Metroid)
Needs uploaded: 2 (LoLo3, SMB)
Needs verified: 7 (L.M., LOZ:TMC, SMB3, SMW, DMC1, MGS 2, MS3)
Needs timed: 8 (S:SA (Sonic: Sonic Adventure for example) T:SA, A:SA, BtC:SA, CV, LOZ:OOT, Crash2 (Or CB2), Alundra)
Needs edited/compressed: 1 (Jak 2)
Needs captured from tape: 1 (DKC2)

(Sigh)  If only...

Anyways, that way, you only have to send out about 1 PM to the runner saying "We got your runs, codes- DKC2, S:SA, Jak2, Alundra" and you won't have to answer the obnoxious and infuriating (I.E. my own ) questions concerning the status of the run multiple times through.  Wouldn't take all that much time to do I imagine.  Just copy, delete, and paste runs into the new stages of the Quene.

But eh.  It's a bit more work for Radix, but I'm sure it would lower the amount of PMs (Most likely just mine, cough) that he'd have to respond to quite a bit, and it didn't take me too much time to slap that together.
Thread title:
I'm addicted to games
The queue paga isn't that important, it's not front-page worthy.

And I'm not listing any kind of hints as to what is what in the queue. Why? If I did people would see that certain things got stuck at various stages for weeks/months and other progressed quicker. And I'd get bugged even more about certain runs.

It's staying numbers only.
Fair enough.
Looks like someone needs a hug!
I was thinking, shouldn't the 'needs timed' be above the 'needs verified' in the queue?  It makes more sense, for non internal-timer runs, anyways, to be verified before they're timed(and even more so to do it at the same time), as a run that took weeks to time (hypothetically) could turn out to be not good enough to post, or even fake/emulated.  I've never done this stuff before, and you obviously know what you're doing, but I thought I'd point it out anyway.  It's not that important, but still...its uh...politically correct(?).

I'm addicted to games
You have a point ... although for simple runs I'll time them before watching them, more complex ones I'll usually pass to a verifier first and wait for their help in telling me where start/stop points are.
