to get into the Goron Mines, have you tried refusing Cor Goron's challenge to Sumo and then attempting to get in?

doing that leaves a space on the left and right of Cor Goron.

just wondering if it's been attempted yet.

EDIT: Which is why I asked about OOB glitches in Lake Hylia. If we could get out of bounds without a Cuccoo or Clawshot, then we can get into Iza's room as a wolf and warp out with her bomb bag. For SDA standards, that can be done without OOB by somehow turning into a wolf for the Upper Zora's River Twilit Messenger fight.

Couldn't you turn into a wolf using the early master sword thing?  Or is that somehow incompatible with this particular trick?

Problem is, I dunno if you'd be able to get enough height off epona to get on that hill.

We need to find the secret to doing the jump I did at 5:42 and 5:49 in the video.
everyone seems to be saying that it is compulsory to have the bow in order to kill king bulblin on lake hylia bridge, but one of my friends say that if you stay on your side of the bridge when you start off, he comes towards you, and before he turns around again, you can hit him with the sword on the back where he has no armour.

I have no idea how he did it, and he is not an experienced zelda player (TP is his first, and the Wii is the first nintendo console hes played), and he definitely did it by accident, so it is unlikely he knows how to reproduce it. I cannot upload anything so even if he does know i cannot show it to you, but try what i said.

Exactly, from what I saw, that might be just enough height.

Are you sure you're not confusing the first bridge battle with the second? The second takes place after restoring light to Lanayru Province and before escorting Prince Ralis to Renado. This battle can't be completed in the same manner as the first one.

In any case, the bow is necessary to complete the game, so the Goron Mines roadblock still needs to be resolved somehow.

no im pretty sure its the second one, because i remember him describing to me the two battles when i asked him what he thought, and the key feature of the first one was that he fell of the bridge at the same timeas king bulbin did, but the cutscene started before he died, and then he went on to say what happened in the second battle, to which he said what i told you, thought i shall ask him again to make sure.
fuck you i wont do what you tell me
I have a file coming up on that part of the game... I'll test it in a while.

No new tricks, but I thought this might be fun to watch:

Ganondorf Defeated with Magic Armor

The very final blow should be interesting, heh, as well as the credits.

I have another video uploading of me fighting the final boss in Zora Armor...I think it's pretty fast.

The problem with the whole "let's go to Eldin and do sumoing then go back and get early Master Sword" is that we need to be a wolf for early Master Sword and restoring light to Eldin would make us turn into a human. We'd need to either turn into a wolf by entering Lanayru's twilight or by entering Faron's twilight. There's no method of entering Faron's twilight from the front after the first time because Midna doesn't let us out, and using Lanayru's twilight doesn't skip anything because we'd have to complete the Goron Mines to get there and we need to finish Lakebed anyway.

Well, if we can find a way to the Laynayru wall before Goron Mines, Master Sword Early may be something to look at. Otherwise, we just need a way through the Gorons.
Speed is the key.

Good job on the first 2 battles.

Did you intentionally try to make it suspenseful by running out of rupees at the last second?

If not, I've said many times...the fastest way to knock him down after he's stunned is to execute the "four-slice combo" (B button 4x), as you did on the last one. Great spins, jump attacks, et cetera do NOT deal any additional damage and in fact slow down the battle. After three knockdowns, he's toast regardless of how you got there.

I've seen the ending using every possible item combination: Zora Armor, Magic Armor, Iron Boots. Funny stuff.

I was trying to get it to run out RIGHT at the moment of the final blow...

That video was not for speed...it was just to show off how cool it looks with Magic Armor....and how the ending looked when it ran out.

I can say I beat the game with Silver Armor...ha ha.

Zora Armor video still uploading.
Argh, stupid slow youtube. Cant watch fierces latest video...

With all due respect, i have some questions. Might aswell squeeze in a bit since the topic is kind of slow now :).

-To skip the sling shot is it necesary to clip through Ordon village door?

-Are there or is anyone doing temple runs with all the advanced tricks?

-Saw a video of the forest temple (Wii version) title "segment 11" i think. How the hell can the guy aim so freacking fast, is aiming that much better on the Wii or was the video acelerated?

-In one of Fierce videos (always great to watch your work man) i saw him climbing a broken pillar in CitS, he was trying to activate the central fan switch. Is that posible or he is just fooling around?

Thanks.

1: eh, wtf? No.

2: No, not all advanced. The Diababa trick, for example is sickly hard to hit diababa with.

3: Since you point with the wiimote at the screen, yes, its faster, but harder.

4: Dont know, Link, please?

1: So whats the process?

2: I meant. Instead of a whole run, just speedplays of each temple using all the current tricks you guys found.

3: Did you saw the video. It was extremly fast.

4: One of Fierce's tricks compilation.
FIERCELINKMASTER, I just thought I'd inform you that you're being impersonated on Youtube in SZ's comments, and people are believing it's the real you... I'm sorry for being off-topic.  I'd clarify this at Youtube but I don't have an account there.

Thanks...I responded to them like this:
Well they say impersonation is the most sincere form of flattery.

For fun I tried to rush through to the Forest Temple with no tricks.  Got there at 40 mins, but I forgot some parts and made a lot of mistakes.  But none of the skips or tricks used, just rushing through.  The game's very short when you skip all the cutscenes, heh.

Thanks for answering. Yet? So theres a posibility?

Anyone can ilustrate the slingshot skiping process?

Watch my videos Skip Ordon Days 1 & 2 and Skipping the Slingshot.

You do not have to hit Ganondorf with the 4 hit combo on the 3rd assault.  Start button mashing B as soon as you finish the chance move...you should initiate the swings before he can be hit, and you will only land 2 hits in the combo, but the final "hard" swing will knock him out.

Early Master Sword with Slowdown and Mirroring

Slowdown should help you all get down the angle and such, mirroring should help you guys who are using the GCN version.

EDIT: And yeah, I know that technically it's unmirrored. But it's mirrored from the original video, and from the Wii version.
I'm not THAT bad.
