Nintendo was evil when they created this game.
If there only was a way to do a bombchu hover thing...
Puff, puff, pass
Wait, what is the reason for them not moving, or not being able to sumo wrestle?

Have people that done this ( I still can't it done myself  Tongue ) killed all the bugs in faron and restoring light after getting the MS?

(sorry for bringing up OoB again, but ...)

SDA is certainly the biggest and best place I know of to showcase speedruns.  (I was so disappointed when the best person I know of at katamari games (Lo7) told me "he doesn't care about getting his runs on SDA.") So SDA's and Radix's arbitrary rules do matter to me.

I admit I'm a little sad that my favorite glitched-run idea (5-minute Zelda Link's Awakening) will never make it onto SDA because of the rules, but yeah, I think one arbitrary set of rules is a good thing.

Heh, I shouldn't have been the one to bring up whether the Master Sword glitch was acceptable or not, because I don't know the rule well.

Here's hoping you guys can find ways to actually take advantage of the Master Sword glitch in an SDA speedrun.

Here's hoping SexyZora gets back in the fray.

And here's hoping YautjaElder completes his run!!!

Wow, sub-5?

That's impossible... I can't imagine beating the whole game that quickly... I mean, that's less than 1 hour per temple...

Wait, do you guys skip the temples or something? Cheesy

P.S. Why are you using the GC instead of Wii version? Is it easier to do? More glitches?

Hey... there's nothing wrong with you seeing what you think is an OoB, and piping up.  In fact, that's a good thing.  The whole reason it gets talked about so much is that no-one really knows the rule well... and if you think you've spotted an OoB, we need to know.

Still, we're all really glad you were wrong  Tongue
Though it looks like the trick might be useless now...

It's sub-6 we're looking at really, for now.  We're still one or two really big sequence breaks away from getting a sub-5 (this Master Sword thing could be one of them... but only if we get it to work).

We haven't managed to skip any temples yet - Nintendo really tried hard to keep you on the rails this time around.  If you want to see temple-skipping, check out the Ocarina of Time runs.

And either version is fine, GameCube or Wii, they're only subtly different.

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
So what we're looking for now is a way out of Faron Twilight and into Eldin, where we go up to sumo-ing. Then, we go back to Faron without the game freezing, get Master Sword, and continue from there? That's nice. If only I could get the damn glitch to work...

Anyway, I don't think the MS glitch would be disallowed because if we're still working on a Bottle Adventure OoT run that uses a certain Gerudo Gate Skip or Shadow Early, would those not be the exact same thing? You go onto a piece of land you're not supposed to and then jump through or over things onto more solid ground you're normally allowed on.
Perhaps we can just skip the Goron Mines altogether though... Maybe there's a way to skip having to face King Bulbin with the shields, so we don't need the arrows. If after the Lakebed Temple the Goron Mines entrance sets to what it would be like AFTER getting the third Fused Shadow piece, then maybe we'll be able to enter it out of order.

Because in Arbiter's Grounds (And I'm sure in many other places) we need the bow to continue. (Mini-Boss) Just a thought, but I doubt it will work.
Speed is the key.

You can use the clawshot.
You'd still need the bow in the Lakebed Temple to knock down those stalactites. Unless someone managed to clear it by using the boomerang?

Then uh.... CitS I don't think the clawshot will reach that first switch to open the beginning gates.

...I completely forgot about that. x_x So much for my theory. Cheesy

And the gorons still don't let me go into the mines after AG :P, but if I use the speed of the super spinner I can get trugh them. Maybe backflip+bomb gives enouch speed?

You can use the rang, but it's a lot easier and quicker to use the bow.

Dammit, what the hell is with those gorons?!:P

But Barnes doesn't sell bombs till after GM is complete, right?

Woh there. Are you saying that you can get through them with the spinner, or that you think you can? Because if captain_compost is right in saying you only need the boomerang and not the bow for the water temple, then we should be able to get to the Arbiter's Grounds without a problem. As far as I'm aware the bow isn't required to complete the Arbiter's Grounds.
So if we can get bulbin second round, all we now need the bow for is ToT?

What about Dark Beast Ganon? Perhaps Clawshot?

Okay, let's get this stuff sorted out and all move on with our lives.

I did steal credit from SexyZora19. She figured out the whole trick, and yes I just stole it all. I'm a pretty crappy Zelda player and I knew it was going to be a really popular glitch, so I saw an opportunity and took off with it. And look at me now? I'm famous.

Sorry for stealing your credit and being a jackass about it SZ, I just really wanted that fame because I was a nobody and now I'm somebody. I feel better now that I came clean, but if I would have earlier I wouldn't have got all the hits and fame I got. That's why I didn't.

Can we just forget all this shit and move on now?

rofl, 3 t:s.

Anyway, if we can defeat king bulbin sec round without bow, the only thing we need it again on is ToT, is it?

Clawshot dosnt work.
But we can transform into wolf, or use the B&C.

Super spinner is an AR code that makes the spinner go realy fast if you press X and makes you fly if you press A. So the "wall" isn't solid, it just forces us out if we have a speed of less then the speed it is puching us out with.
If you go to the other side the distance between you and the gorrons theyre back is almost a swordslash, same for the one in front of the elivator.

Not me, no lol. What the hell is wrong with these people?

Also, got Early Master Sword Fun #2 done... gonna upload it in a minute.
Goodie, looking forward too it.
Whats wrong with them? They are rly confused, thats it, I guess.
I like both SZ19s glitches and yours, and its kinda strange, TPglitchers are getting enemies, wtf 0_O

By the way Mr Potter, did you say in one of the YouTube videos that you'd skipped the Bulbin fight before you tried to do the Goron mines?  If that's the case, have you tried them after the Bulbin fight yet?

Something recently occured to me... Maybe it would work if we fought King Bulblin. I always warped to Death Mountain instead of fighting him, but maybe if we fought him it would work. I'll give it a shot later.

Haven't tried after the fight yet. I will soon, though.
Nemo spelled backwards is Omen.
Wow there has to be something wrong, Mr. Potter did you skip anything by warping? Did you kill king Buiblin to rescue Colin? Did you skip taming Epona? Did you warp to Ordon to get the Iron boots?

Omg, and that you are saying now.
Im pretty sure it will work after that.
