Paraxade has done a few segments (up to some part of Goron Mines) in a 100% run that was sort of abandoned. I suspect the route used there is probably outdated by now, but perhaps this might be an incentive for someone to plan and record a 100% run.
I disagree with the deadline, though; I honestly don't think 6 months is enough time to plan and record a 100% run of such a massive game. The final product would almost certainly be rushed and feel like it was thrown together.
^ Yeah, I don't think it's long enough either. If I were to start a run right now I'd probably want til at least end of January 2012 and that's just for attempts, not taking into account planning. To be safe, Summer 2012 is probably a good deadline, maybe a little bit later because it would really suck to work hard on the run just to not be able to make the deadline (it's a damned massive run).
anyway - personally, I'm not taking this up mainly because I'm busy at the moment, but when I'm free if the bounty's still available and the deadline's been moved up enough to allow breathing room then I'll consider going for it.
^ or they'd have to be willing to rush it to get it done in time... there is a reason runs take so long and it's nothing to do with lack of dedication.
Haha, this bounty has got me interested in TP again... and I've been playing it a bit and the game isn't as bad as I remember...
Unfortunately, with university coming up, the chances of me having time to work on a run past like August are slim to none... However, if I can get a route done within a week or so, I should have a week or so to practice and make attempts at a run for about a month...
It probably wouldn't happen, but I have a habit of getting fairly good SS runs out within 50 or 60 attempts (both of my runs on SDA fall under this category), so if I can find the existing 100% route, I could tweak it for SS and give it a try.
I'm gonna go ahead and re-buy twilight princess this month and start planning stuff..gonna have a lot of reading to do :P. Hope to get some help from you guys
P.S.: Out of curiosity how up to date is the zsr page for the segmented 100% ?
P.P.S.: Would the bit/bite-glitch break sda-rules ? (Don't think it would but I just wanted to make sure that it's allowed)

The route on wikia and zsr isn't completely up to date yet.
Segment 15: get Epona, collect bugs, shield bash, purple and orange rupee in Ordon, sumo Bo, save In the old route, there was a bug you collected while riding back to Kakariko. Obviously that is instead collected when heading to Ordon for iron boots since you don't ride back to Kakariko. Segment 16: herd goats, get heart piece, save Segment 17: BiTE, beat King Bulblin, save Segment 18: Go to Death Mountain, save. Segment 19: Clip wall, LJA to elevator room, ride up, save Segment 27: this
You can't use the BIT glitch in a 100% run, because the Ordon sword and shield never show up in your inventory. And you can't get them in your inventory on a BIT file the normal way after Midna takes you back to Ordon Springs because the game assumes you already have them. You could burn your shield then maybe buy another one to get it in the inventory but there is currently no way that I know of to get rid of the Ordon sword.

Even if you could get Ordon sword and shield to show up in the inventory, it isn't possible to get fishing rod and slingshot with BIT.
So much competition for this bounty... This'll end up being one hell of a run.
Not sure if I'll continue my work on the run, the money doesn't really seem that important to me. That being said, I'll follow this run and help out with whatever. Good luck to all attempting it.
I'll also follow this run from beginning to end though I won't be that much of a help. I'll just keep cheering for you guys silently from behind my monitor. Just remember that there are a whole bunch of lurker supporters like me, it's just that they don't express their feelings on the forums but there are always those who are cheering for you from beginning til the end.
Using BiTE wont save any time by sda-rules because it requires a 2nd save-file. The time it takes to create that save-file would get subtracted from the time you gain by using it.

Ecko, it looks like your video quality needs some work (the first segment is okay but the second has some horrendous moments that look like spots where cheating might be possible through careful editing). Did you record this on a VHS tape? I should mention that DVD recording, among other methods, is generally preferred nowadays. I don't know that much about recording runs, but a lot of the other folks here should be able to give you some tips (plus there's a whole section of the SDA Knowledge Base with info about recording). As a last recommendation I suggest reading the thread where Runnerguy planned an SS Banjo-Kazooie run, in which it was explained thoroughly how to avoid some of the pitfalls associated with recording.
