Where can I see videos (besides the trailer and gamespy) of this game? I don't much about it. It's prett sweet that you're already finding tricks in the demo.
TSA, why don't you ask them if you can work as a Beta Tester? Well, might be a little bit boring to speedrun later thought. Not one single trick that's useful in speedruns Cry.
If he did, he'd be forced to reveal speedtricks and the game would be suckified.
Does anyone know how many dungeons or Temples they are?
TP will have more temples than OoT, according to Eiji Aonuma.

I'm was in no doubt this game runs off the WW engine?
A heavily modified Wind Waker engine.

What limatations does the wolf have?
Link can communicate with animals when in wolf form. When transformed into a wolf, Link's senses (smell, sight, and hearing) will also be raised quite significantly. With these abilities come some disadvantages. While he is a wolf, Link cannot use any of his items.
I also meant what areas and places would Link be limited to when it comes to using the wolf. I mean could we manipulate the wolf to be used in areas it should't or could Link transform at any time.
I still think this game from a speed game point of view will probally take 7-8 hours to complete, which is really stretching for an SS runner. My absoulte limit of concentration is probally 9 hours.

I'm pretty sure that you are limited to use the wolf only in the Twilight realm (think the dark world in ALttP). I'm not sure.

Sequence breaks are hard to find (at first). I'll still play through the game normally;mess about; talk to people; win first prizes; treat it like 100% and skip all temples while getting the light arrows to defeat Ganondorf (on the assumption that he's in it(I think)).
TSA... and you say you don't consider yourself a speed runner. And yet you go and sequence break the game while it's still in development. I'll bet Miyamoto was pissed at you. I just imagine him watching you play from the shadows and muttering "Bring him to me" under his breath. And of course, he probably offered you a job

I know that they spent ages on programming the screw attack to make sure it couldn't be abused too badly in Echoes.
Ironically, the screw attack ended up being one of the most broken features in Echoes. It can easily be used to leave level boundaries at almost any morph ball tunnel in the game. No use to speed runners, but still... can't believe they missed something like that.
Would you believe me if I said I wasn't trying to speed run it? I was just trying out a ton of stuff. I was just doing what they want - explore and try everything.
I enjoy speedruns, I'm just sick of everyone only knowing me for them. That's about to change though thanks to E3, and Nintendo staff know me for more than that, as does Miyamoto.
So I'm at peace with that.
BTW - Super Mario 64 is there on the Virtual Console. Anyone want me to try the Bunny bugs?

Well, y'already ruined Nintendo's day with that stunt you pulled... might as well go two for two.
if you get a chance, definitely let the nintendo people know how appreciative we are of their dedication to gaming. i think we would all be sol right now if it weren't for them.

Sure, go for it. I doubt that Nintendo has patched up any bugs present in the original version. I wouldn't see them doing that to any game, unless it was a bug that caused random freezes, audio glitches, etc.
Video being done now...sorry, it's camera only, has an issue during the transistion to the boss battle (camera went crazy and auto-zoomed for a second and for five seconds it's blurry/zoomed), and it's not gonna be accepted here (quality not to standard of SDA since its a camera).
But, I could get sub 2:30 on this route. I also needed more time to research skipping that one cutscene.
Can you comment on whether or not Nintendo actually implemented that shortcut on purpose? I think it'd be great if they didn't go about getting rid of every possible shortcut, but rather encouraged sequence breaks and the like.
Woah, you mean they updated the floor build on the spot? That's... interesting. At any rate, looking forward to the video. Were you playing the Wii or GCN version? Assuming it was the Wii version, how did you like the controller?
So you got to play Twilight Princess on Wii, sequence broke it, got to meet Miyamoto AND they changed the game because of what you discovered? I'm more than a little bit impressed. Perhaps they'll give you credit as a temporary beta tester :P.

Given that they fixed it, the answer is clearly "no".
In any event, Nintendo, for better or worse, don't seem to like it when people try and sequence break their games, especially the newer Metroids. From what I've gathered lurking around M2K2 some time back, I don't think the problem is with sequence breaking itself, but moreso that sequence breaks take advantage of engine flaws, which isn't exactly a good thing if said engine is used in more than one game.
ALSO: I found the fact that TSA sequence broke the demo to be (*&^ing hilarious.
