Hey all,
This June a few of us are looking to put on a marathon for our friend Trogdor. If you're not familiar with Trog, he's a speedrunner who specializes in the Mega Man X games (but has run a whole lot of other stuff as well). At AGDQ this year, Trog spent some time in the ED of the local hospital due to some kidney stones. While the issue was quickly taken care of, he still accrued some pretty hefty bills from his time in the hospital. A few months before, Trog had moved out to Wisconsin and started a brand new job, so needless to say funds have been a little tight. So instead of the traditional GoFundMe, we wanted to help out speedrun style and do a marathon!
The current plan is for the marathon to take place from June 16th-June 18th. Submissions will be open from 5/22 until Sunday 5/28. The marathon will be hosted on Trogdor's channel (twitch.tv/trogdor). As far as marathon goal, Trog's expenses roughly come out to about $4000. The dream would be to raise the full $4000 but given the tight timeline, we want to simply help out as much as possible.
