I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
I am pretty good at it, and I beat this game about 1-2 time per day, its fun and fast. about 15-20 min per run.

When I do speed run, I buy low price warehouse items, and I just go for the fastest goals in cities until the pro skaters come and pick me up.

This will be my first speed run, Since its only for ds (and gba but I don't have that version) I will record the top screen only, I know that metroid prime hunter's speed run was recorded with a camera thats pointing at the screen, hopefully my speed run's quality will be same, or nearly as good.

This is the first time I do a speed run, I am not sure how to upload..etc can any one help me?
Thread title:
I have no solution, but i admire the problem.
Several things to consider before rushing into a run:

1. Read the General SDA FAQ

2. For infos regarding DS recordings (there are strict guidelines here as they are everywhere on SDA ), read the DS Submission thread

3. When done, read the Submission FAQ

Also, for doing the run itself, you obviously need to complete the game as fast as possible, which means exploring the game, finding tricks, trying to skip parts of the game, choosing the fastest paths, optimizing your gameplay etc. Just make sure that others are impressed when watching your run.

At last, good luck! We need as many THPS runs here as possible!

I think i will do it on the game boy version instead, cause I don't have good camera.

I have a gba game cube player, how do i record the screen?
I have no solution, but i admire the problem.
Plug it into a DVD recorder, there is a thread in the tech support forum with recorders for something like 120$. VHS is forbidden, unless you can convert it to the pc yourself, which i doubt.
Good luck.

great.... I might beg my dad to buy me one...
any good ones out there? (easy to use and very very good quality?
200 bucks is probably the highest limit, unless its really worth it )

as i said, there's a recommendation thread for dvd recorders in the tech support forum.
you have to do a little bit of work on your own!
