Oh yes, after collecting the grapple, I fly to Baccus Village. Because of this, I can't fly later (after getting the yellow bag, I should have flown to the 10,000 year old man's house, exited, and continued) Maybe 10 seconds lost.
Ah yes, Super Paper Mario is pretty good. Though it may not be as good as the other two (in my opinion) it is still worth it.
I got a PS3 a few days ago and I've been playing that a fair bit. Still haven't fixed the sound on the C. Card but the next time my Uncle comes round, i'll be sure to ask him for help.
Sorry Laguna, but I've put the run(s) on hold until I finish my other run. It's definitely not canceled, just don't expect it until June-ish. Are you still doing a run of Tombi! 2?

Very well. By the look of it, you're running Ratchet and Clank? At this stage, no I haven't been working on Tombi! 2. I may do it eventually, but right now i'm planning on a run for Folklore.
I just testing the 100% route, finally. Seems incredibly solid: I would personally just change some of the segmentation. I prefer having pig battles at the start of segments, and I think a couple could be condensed together. I managed a time of 2:09; this is much longer than a real run would be, simply because I didn't know my way around the Haunted Mansion or when getting the maths beads, the run was basically SS, and I was reading the run from a piece of paper during loading sequences.
I'm tempted to a segmented 100% before a SS any%. It seems as though the practice I would get from a segmented run would benefit me in an SS.
Who knows, maybe I'll even try a SS 100% someday. I think one of the only things that would put me off doing that would be the Go-go karts, but in practicing today, I got Gold on my first attempt.
Pretty much following the same route. The only extra thing I need to do is visit the Ol' Tree of Knowledge again, to complete "Ol' Tree of Knowledge Knows".
I'm in the middle of a semi-seriosu practice run, then I'm gonna probably do a YouTube camera quality run. Then, obviously, the real thing.
Also, I'm pretty sure PAL is slower. I've been playing it so much the past few days, watching your vids seems alien.
Edit: You're still gonna do your Tombi 2 run, right? That's gonna be hell; have you got a route yet?
I've got the routes for both (but not fully tested the 100%, some segment ends and starts will probably be shifted) And I'm finishing my current R&C run, then finishing my Tomba! 2 run, then either doing the 100% or R&C2. All 4 are to be completed by the end of summer.
Does anyone have a map for Mushroom Forest and/or Lava Caves? Red + Blue was difficult, and finding another two healing mushrooms will be too.
Bosungee went much easier than I expected.
Edit: Just done practice, unrecorded Seg. 8. Total: 0:30 PAL = 0:25 NTSC, right?
Editedit: Practice, unrecorded Seg. 9 @ Total 0:37 PAL = ~0:30 NTSC.
Also, Robert, is there any chance that you upload a video to help me plan my route through the Mushroom Forest for Seg. 10 to get the Death Plants and two healing mushrooms (I already have one, the one near the 1up, which I got during red + blue)? It's a wee bit difficult.
I'll see what I can come up with (I had this planned before, but have no clue now, also haven't played Tomba! once since the final segment was recorded. [oct. 31, last year])
This may seem a stupid question, but will the in game clock also run at 50hz? (Meaning a minute in game time going by save points would actually take 72 seconds).
With some games, I'm pretty sure that's the case. But because it's been a long time since i've played the first Tombi! I cannot say. I doubt it somehow.
