You can do it as soon as you unlock the firecamp right before the first bunker (when Lara looks at her camera for the second time) ... Tried to do a video of it, but the setup is kind of stupid and hard. I will try again tomorrow!

Something I've noticed is ladder jumping. Is this a thing on 360 pad? On keyboard it's easy enough many ladders let you jump up them, just keep pressing jump and W at the same time and she'll keep going. I'm going to imagine pressing up and jump simultaneously without her moving up isn't as easy on a pad? Some confirmation?

Alrighty, I've just done my first run, without skips (Except the last one, I had to try that, haha.) It was terrible, but I learned a lot. I'm going skip testing today, and I decided to combine all of the video skips to date into one post in (I think) chronological order (I'll confirm the order and fix stuff during my test run). No problem at all. Doing the second Grim event means losing a lot of XP so it is hard having the axe attack. However, once you do the skip, kill the guys by shooting the barrel to the left, then there is a dynamite dude appearing at the back of the platform, kill him, then kill all the guys spawing. You can kill all of them very fast, do a walljump towards a wall or climbing up the ladder then jump on the rope, no cutscene etc because there are still guys at the first platform.

Also you should add how to skip the cutscene where Mathias kills one of his crewmate. You just have to go back to the main menu then go back at the game, cutscene will be skipped. It saves time. If someone wants to do a video, go ahead. Not really haaard to do so... yeah.

yeah, I did not discover that, Pewable gets all credit. I think I said that in the video, if not I need to add that in there.

For the grim skip 2, wouldn't it be faster to trigger the checkpoint on the other platform and reload rather then kill everyone? That's essentially what I did in my run (they shot me off the rope rather then me reloading).

Alrighty I've had a go at each of the skips on the 360, I generally gave each about 10 minutes of attempts. The following I couldn't get to work (mostly due to me sucking):
- Mountain temple - Just need to jump like a centimeter further.
- Radio Tower approach - Found the debris hard to land on, could never get a clean jump to the second platform.
- Radio door clip - L0rdy's video explains it well, I think I just need to try more.
- Chasm Monastery - Couldn't even make the first jump, you're crazy L0rdy. Tongue

- Geothermal - Need to try this again with the melee attack ability. I was getting close without it though.

I'll give them all another shot after I at least get some times posted. I'll be doing my first full run attempt in a few hours, if anyone wants to see me fail a bunch of times come check it out at http://www.twitch.tv/potatohandle \o/

Aphox is the only one who could do the Mountain temple, so you aren't alone.
Radio tower is hard for me too. I think the door/wall clip would be faster anyway.
Door clip needs the perfect angle so you just need to find your own consistant method.
Monastery is quite hard, I've only gotten it twice. Once you get that jump though, the rest is easy.
Geothermal needs that ability at the moment. Aphox said he's gonna try to get it without the ability.

About Grim Skip 2: look at the other platform like 5 seconds, turn around, if the dude who was at your back left is trying to kill you with melee attack, kill him and it's like 100% sure that the other one will throw the fire.

Yeah Pewable is right, it's faster to approach the rope from the right. But I couldn't grab that mini-roof for some reason on ps3, have't given it that many tries tho. I will try more later!

yeah puwable, wait a little moment after the two guys landing on the first platform to kill them is 100% succesfull for me too.

I tried all skip possible and couldn't realize the two at the radio tower approach....can't see what i'm missing. Whatever i wish i could get under 2h30 one day, without monastery and geothermal skip.
I need a lot more of practice...
